Emosi campur aduk. Kami menginap selama 2 hari, dan saat check-in ternyata tidak ada input di kamar. Manajer mengatakan masalahnya akan teratasi dalam waktu satu jam. Terlepas dari kenyataan bahwa staf menawarkan untuk mencuci di tepi kolam renang, di mana pancuran berada di luar sehingga dapat dilihat semua orang. Beberapa jam kemudian, pengelola datang dan mengatakan semuanya baik-baik saja, menyesuaikan air (keluarnya hitam, semua pipa tersumbat dan harus disiram). Setelah itu kami pergi makan malam dan memutuskan untuk mandi sebelum tidur. Itu adalah hari ulang tahun istriku keesokan harinya. Mereka juga meminta untuk membersihkan kamar dan mengganti handuk, karena saat pemasangan semuanya menjadi kotor. Sekembalinya dari makan malam, kami bertanya apakah semuanya baik-baik saja dan mereka menjawab ya. Sesampainya di kamar, kami menemukan airnya sudah tidak ada lagi. Ini sangat mengecewakan dan kami pergi mencari tahu situasinya di resepsi, di mana gadis-gadis itu sedang duduk dan berusaha memuluskan situasi. Setelah menelpon pengelola, kami jelaskan bahwa tidak boleh tinggal di kamar seharian yang tidak ada airnya, bahkan ke toilet pun tidak bisa karena tidak ada alat untuk menyiramnya. Staf sekali lagi membedakan dirinya dan menawarkan sebotol air 1,5 liter untuk membilas. Karena frustrasi, kami meminta untuk menyewakan hotel lain kepada kami. Waktu menunjukkan pukul 23:00. Staf mengatakan bahwa mereka menelepon ke mana-mana dan tidak ada nomor. Kami menawarkan untuk menyewa hotel tempat kami tinggal selama 2 hari terakhir. Ternyata ada kamar untuk 1 malam. Dan kami sepakat akan bermalam di sana dan kembali keesokan harinya. Dan itulah yang terjadi! Keesokan harinya masalah air teratasi. Kalau di Honemoon suite lembab, jadi tidak perlu AC dan barang jadi basah. Sarapannya standar. Staf umumnya baik, kecuali manajer. Saya memahami bahwa masalahnya mempengaruhi seluruh hotel, tetapi mengapa memasukkan orang ketika tidak ada air di dalam kamar, mengapa mengatakan semuanya baik-baik saja, dan kemudian kami menemukan bahwa tidak ada air di dalam kamar (1 kali setelah makan siang, 2 kali setelah makan malam). Istri saya mengatakan beberapa kali bahwa ini adalah hari ulang tahunnya, bahwa akan ada pemotretan pada hari pemberian berikutnya, dan dia membutuhkan rambut bersih, dll., dan ini tidak dapat dilakukan tanpa air. Manajer berjanji untuk menyelesaikan semuanya, tapi pada akhirnya dia tidak bisa. Dan pada satu titik dia berkata, oke, maaf atas situasinya, saya akan pesankan kuenya keesokan harinya. Itu lucu, tapi bahkan di sini dia tidak melakukan apa pun. Oleh karena itu, secara umum, saya tidak menyukai hotelnya, saya juga tidak menyukai kamarnya, stafnya mencoba, tetapi mereka memiliki sedikit sumber daya untuk ini. Padahal mereka menyewa kamar untuk bermalam di hotel lain. Ada sesendok madu di salepnya.

Such a quiet and tranquil spot good location with everything in walking distance, great pool, good breakfast, large room & bed and bathroom, would definitely stay here again. Friendly staff who are happy to organise washing, transport etc

A quiet tropical getaway on a less crowded street in busy Ubud. The poolview from the restaurant is perfect. We had some unwanted visitors in our room a couple of times , but from what I gather that is Bali for you. :) The staff is exceptionally nice and helpful.

Tropical paradise on a budget. Pool and Restaurant are A+. Food was Delicious and Good price. Perfect location. Beware the mosquitos at night. Bring some mozzie coils. Easy parking down the long driveway. Just a few small things like light bu lbs need changing and air con would stop working after 30 minutes, had to switch on and off to power it back up. But these are common occurrences in Bali accomodation from my experience. Overall I was happy with the accomodation.

Amazing stay. Gardens and pool area was stunning. Daily breakfast looking over the pool, garden and complimentary yoga twice a week by the pool was amazing! Staff were lovely and helpful. Very relaxing. Loved our stay here and would come again!

I just spent 3 nights at Desak Putera Cottages, and they were wonderful. The cottages are located in the center of Ubud, but they are completely surrounded by a beautiful forest, so it feels as though you are in the country. The staff were wonderful, the price was excellent, the bedroom was large, clean and beautiful, the bed was comfortable, and my balcony overlooked the forest. (Plus the room had air conditioning.) I also enjoyed eating breakfast every day in the open air restaurant while watching birds and butterflies flit through the beautiful trees and flowers. One of the best things, though, is that the staff arranged for a driver to pick me up at the airport and bring me to the hotel, and he was wonderful! I ended up spending 3 days with him, and he took me to many different places that were part of the real Bali, not just a tourist trap. Plus his prices were really reasonable. (Half the cost of a day tour I signed up for on Trip Advisor and far superior.) His name is Wa Pk Dewa Taman (or Mr. Garden), and I highly recommend him.

My wife and I stayed 5 nights in a Superior Garden View room at the Cottages, having also spent time there on previous holidays. Pros: - Good location 15 min or so walk to Monkey Forest and several restaurants and warungs close by. - lovely jungle like setting - relatively quiet apart from the odd rooster call and dog barking - nice spacious room with good airconditioning and cold fridge (see con below) - tasty a la carte breakfast. A good way to kick start the day - dining area was spacious and had a great outlook to the "jungle" - so relaxing first thing in the morning - nice pool with beautiful garden surrounds - last, but foremost, lovely, friendly, helpful, staff. Cons: - Unless you are reasonably fit the many steps (approx 60 from pool to reception) could be a struggle, although we are in our 70's and managed ok. - the bathroom, like many in Bali, looked like it could have benefitted from a good scrub - the shower screen in particular. - the fridge kept defrosting leaving a pool of water in the bottom - No instructions on how to operate TV. We had to get staff to explain (operated through another device) and then couldn't get actual TV, only YouTube, which didnt work all that well due to internet speeds.

Amazing place: nature all around, an amazing swimming pool and a lot of peace and calm. Very comfortable room. incredible staff, very kind and always ready helping you. They organize a lot of tour around Bali and particularly around Ubud so you con discover this wonderful land. Breakfast is really good: you can choose different dishes, from sweet to savory. Good laundry service. We really enjoyed the stay and if you are organizing your journey to Bali, you really would hope a place like this. Also good value for money.

It's a lovely place to stay at, beautifully decorated, with friendly and helpful staff, comfortable rooms and plenty of space to relax after a busy trip exploring the sightseeings around. It's in the centre of Ubud, but when you get inside it feels like you are in the middle of a rainforest. Thehre we saw some of the most beautiful birds on Bali flying around from tree to tree.
