Temuku Villas Ubud

We stayed there for 4 nights and it was perfect. The villa was beautiful, clean, spacious, and overlooked a lush jungle with the sound of a flowing water stream, with a private pool that made every morning feel like a dream. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always ready with a smile and great recommendations. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, served right to our villa at time. It’s just far from central Ubud, but the hotel offers free shuttle to the center on scheduled timing. I would also suggest to add a bit more lighting inside the room, especially in the evening. It felt a little dim at times. We mentioned that to the team and they immediately brought in a self-standing lamp to improve the lighting. That kind of responsiveness really stood out. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Bali.

Lovely peaceful semidetached villas away from main hustle and bustle. Each villa has its own private pool which was lovely, though we found the temperature a bit cold. Apparently the next door villa complex has heated private pools but is more expensive. The complex is quite a long ten minute walk from the road so we lugged our bags in the heat unaware they offer a golf buggy service to/from the road so that is something to be aware of - just call them. Met at check in with lovely welcome drink and fruit (see photo). Villas lust like the photos. We used on site restaurant which was open until 10 pm daily and had reasonable prices. Also used on site spa which was good but double Ubud centre prices but you are of course paying for convenience factor. Staff super helpful and friendly and complimentary tea/coffee daily 3-10pm a nice touch and you could have brought to your villa if you wish. Location is peaceful as away from the main road and about a 15 minute Uber/Grab ride to town. I walked one day and it took me an hour. Outdoor bath in villa lovely but took an hour to fill using hot tap only so that was off putting. Think a faulty plug maybe. Shower also required hot tap only as water quite tepid. Shower gel, hand soap and shampoo seemed really poor quality and we didn’t like so bought my own. Would have been nice to have local Balinese products. Bed linen very limp and poor quality as old and over washed. Towels and supplied kimonos literally threadbare (see photos). Such a small thing that could easily be rectified. Buy some new linens. Pillows poor quality too. Two of our five nights we had people burning rubbish at adjacent buildings at 10.30 pm so that was horrible and smelly. Staff came to our villa as we thought something may have been on fire. Nice place but we would probably stay elsewhere next time and spoilt for choice with villa complexes in Ubud. This one quite removed from Ubud centre so transport required and just a few things that were not right for us though could easily be rectified for future guest satisfaction.

Lovely mid range villas, that all have a private pool. Good cocktail specials. Very peaceful and quiet place to sleep for a good price. Is a little far from from the main town and attraction so you will need to rent a bike or rely on car services. Bathroom was outside, so had to be careful to close the toilet to avoid bugs, frogs and lizards getting in. Service and cleanliness is that of a 4 star hotel, fine but not pristine. Would stay again for the pool!
