Ulasan Six Senses Uluwatu

I recently stayed at the Bali Six Senses Hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was far from what I expected. The primary concern during my visit was the poor hygiene standards, which significantly impacted my stay. Firstly, the water quality was alarming. The water coming from the shower, swimming pool, and wash basin was salty . I raised this issue with the hotel manager, who informed me that the water filter was broken, explaining the salty taste. This explanation did little to alleviate my concerns about hygiene and safety. In a luxury hotel, I expect clean, safe water for bathing and swimming. It was disappointing to find that this basic standard was not met. Overall, I was quite dissatisfied with my stay due to these hygiene issues. I hope the management addresses these problems for future guests.

Not covenient, but this is perhaps its selling point if you want to relax in a self-sustaining resort. The facility was great and the room was clean. The swimming pool in the room and the infinity common swimming was particularly great. There are lots of activities (eg yoga, diving, golf etc) which are great with family and kids. The breakfast was good. But the room service and pickup from room (as you need a budgy for commuting to everywhere) was slow. But all in all, the hotel is great and I would recommend it.

Everything was good. But the view is not as good as the photo.

The view is beautiful, the food is good, but the lobby send cart takes a long time.

Had a relaxing stay. Villa pool cleanliness can be improved

Old hotel. Things in the room is spoiled. The balcony door lock is spoil, the santizer socket is spoil, the shower door is spoil. Alot of ants near the sink area If with toodler and infant dont come here. Especially with stroller. Breakfast varity is lesser compare to other hotel Staff here have no communcation between each other. check out time is 1pm as the night before i spoke to the staff in their whatapp group. After breakfast on the way back to room they say check out at 12pm. After check they say sorry is 1pm. Another is complimentary photo shoot. No one told us there complimentary photo shoot till after breakfast den was told about it. Best things is the view. Tt all.

Nice food nice view, they even upgraded us. The staff are so nice and they will send the car to pick us up at the hotel at any time.

A little remote area, nothing much surrounding

We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to the One bedroom Cliff pool villa upon check in as it was my birthday. It was the start of a wonderful birthday celebration, thanks to the exceptional staff and their outstanding hospitality. From the moment we arrived at the resort, we were greeted with warm smiles and fantastic sea view. The suite was spacious and everything was eco friendly. Six senses staff were attention to detail and their commitment to creating a special experience for guests sets it apart from the rest. We had a lovely floating breakfast in our villa private pool the next day and free ice cream throughout the afternoon. If you’re seeking a memorable and quiet getaway, Six Senses is the place to stay. Thank you to the amazing staff for making my birthday celebration unforgettable.

Just to provide some context to my review, i stayed in the Sky Pool Suite, and it cost me USD820 per night (that’s SGD1,110). The condition of the suite was appalling to me. It was poorly maintained. Photos speak for themselves. Ceilings covered with mould & algae. Walls stained. Wooden pool deck floorboards covered with algae, extremely slipperly when wet after getting out of the pool. Metal beams all around the ceiling were rusty. The floor & table in the room were covered with dust. Sliding glass doors weren’t cleaned. Giant exhaust pipes literally just adjacent to the suite, with outlets 2-3metres away from the suite’s outdoor bathtub pumping out plumes of smoke, ensuring you won’t breathe in the fresh Uluwatu air. Clothes hangers were covered in rust. Handheld showerhead had a layer of dirt over it. Height of the showerhead could not be adjusted because the adjustable knob was unusable. Room’s desk lamp was broken. Power outlet on the desk was broken and loose. I’ve been to Bali many times, and i’m certain this is one of the most poorly maintained hotel rooms i’ve stepped into, despite having paid the most that i’ve ever had for a few nights’ stay at a Bali hotel. You can see the photos and judge for yourself. On a positive note, every member of the service staff we came into contact with during our stay was amazing. They are always smiling and will make you feel most welcome. I cannot say enough about their service. Frisky was the duty manager who attended to my concerns about the condition of the suite, when i raised this on the last night of my stay there. He offered to have the room cleaned, he offered us a ride to the airport provided by the hotel for the next day, and he let us stay in the suite up to 430pm the next day, the day we were checking out, which was the time we needed to leave the hotel. Adi the GEM supervisor & Yoga the Rocka restaurant manager were also very helpful & left an impression. There were many other service staff whom i’ve had the privilege to meet whom i am unable to name individually, who made the experience at the hotel (while i was outside the suite) a truly memorable and special one. The service was truly deserving of a 5 stars rating.

Overhyped and overpriced. The hotel is right on the edge of the sea and yes, the view is really amazing. However, our room was right up near the reception area and the view there was really limited considering the price we paid. Although our suite is quite sizeable, it was not the cleanest that you’d expect of a 5 stars hotel by far. The room just felt a bit old, damp and rusty and balcony door couldn’t be opened. On the first night, we decided to eat at the hotel restaurant and that’s where my nightmare began. Firstly, the hotel was under some sort of renovation. We got our table outdoor and it was so noisy as the renovation work was just right next to us. The food took ages to arrive and when it eventually did, all our food were cold. We didn’t want to make a huge fuzz but thought it was also a right thing to let the restaurant staff knows about the issue. To our surprise, the table next to us also made the same complaint and all their food were returned to the kitchen. To be fair though, the staff was very apologetic and we were offered a discount for our bill. After the dinner, I had really terrible stomach pain throughout the night and ended up resting in bed for the whole day which obviously wasn’t part of my travel plan. The only positive from our stay was perhaps the spa, amazing treatment and very professional/ experienced staff indeed. All in all, not a very pleasant experience for me.

Breathtaking views amazing cleanliness . Great food the cliff bar is the best for evening cocktails. You can spend hours together at the cliff bar . We were in cliff one bed room which was amazing . Views from the pool in our room was great .

Big wow as soon as u enter the property n the welcome area is divine, overlooking the ocean n plantation is excellent. Welcome drink is yummy n so were the homemade biscuits. Frisky the hotel Manager gave immaculate service to clients

Special place with mind blowing sunsets and beautiful views. Was celebrating my birthday there and the management and team gave us best experience. Very attentive and know you by name. Classy and elegant place, felt so unique.
