Udara Bali

A perfect find - always nice to stay somewhere and have your expectations exceeded. A friend and I spent six fantastic days. Big shout out to the staff - friendly, attentive. Everyone is lovely - so helpful - shout out to Dede in particular for looking after us. Markus - the owner - has created a tranquil, quirky, spiritual space. The dome is a sound experience like no other. He’s taken a vision and implemented it. The food is outstanding. Juices, smoothies, protein shakes, health shots. We experienced yoga, meditation, breath work, kirtan, sauna, plunge pools, excellent massage, estatic dance, gong baths, and sound experiences in the uniquely designed dome. We loved the Sunday mini festival. Visit with an open heart, immerse yourself and leave with a nourished soul. Looking forward to returning. ❤️

The whole place was magical - fantastic facilities - so many different yoga places - every meal was delicious and all staff and yoga teachers are so friendly. From the moment arrived they made me feel so welcome and all staff remembered my name and addressed me with my name. Yoga teachers were so encouraging and very informative

A great place to relax, unwind and meditate. Great for me time. Stayed for 3 nights. Staff were very attentive and approachable. The classes were great. I loved that their team is very flexible with meals and even classes. We were able to attend classes and use our spa credits after check out time. This was great since our flight was to depart at midnight. I did find the Sunday festival too crowded and noisy but they had the best Breathwork class during the festival! Will probably avoid Sundays but will definitely be back for sure!

Back to Udara for the second time after falling in love with this place on a visit with a friend last year. It's so lovely to go somewhere that you can completely drop the mental load and just enjoy being in a space where everything is taken care of. All meals and yoga classes are included, and you get a massage each day, plus there's access to the pools, saunas, spas etc. The staff are lovely and the space if beautiful - very lush and tropical. I would highly recommend, it's great value for money. Will definitely be visiting again next year :)

We had never been to Bali and we had never been to a yoga retreat, so this was a first time for both. Well, we aced it! From the moment you arrive you just know you’ve picked the right place. Where to start? The resort itself, amazing. The position, idyllic. The food, OMFG! A great menu is one thing, turning it out perfectly every time is another! First Class. The Yoga Options, endless. The Day Spa, 100% bliss. Pool, gym and Sauna facilities, absolutely awesome. The yoga facilities and choice of venues (this place has multiple classes and multiple areas operating at once), best we’ve seen. Which leaves us just to discuss the people. Let’s put it this way. We have never seen a place with as happy people working in it as here. It doesn’t matter whether you’re talking to the owner, the janitor, the instructors, the wait staff, barmen, chef, masseuse or driver. It’s like staying with friends, except it’ll feel like family before you know it. We cannot speak highly enough of every single person here. There’s just a vibe about the place. They don’t pretend to care about you, they just genuinely do. We are leaving the day after I now write this. My wife is already crying. We’ve fallen in love not just with Bali, not just with Udara Yoga Detox and Spa, but mostly with everyone that’s part of the place. Truly, this is the benchmark that every resort should measure themselves against!
