We spent 3 nights in this hotel. The hotel owner proposed to book the hotels transfers and the boat for us which we accepted. It worked very well. The location of the hotel is ok because close to mushroom beach and even closer to hidden beach. However, the hotel is situated in a small narrow street next to some construction sites. The garden is beautiful and the pool is clean and inviting. The site seems a little unmaintained, though. The bar area is not inviting, besides, there are no chairs or tables. Same goes for the breakfast area which is basic and rather clean but sadly, with no touch of decoration that are so usual in Bali. Our huts were ok but rather basic. The new ones looked better. The bathroom was very basic. We did not receive any bath towels, only 2 towels for the pool. We received two tiny bottles of water for the whole stay and those were not replaced when empty. The hotel is run by 3 guys. They clearly « do the job », they are around all day long, providing help if needed. They very kindly lended us a motorbike when we needed to go to the pharmacy for our daughter. We booked a snorkeling tour directly with them and I would just recommend NOT to do it. Yes, it is a little cheaper than the regular tours but you will end up on a slow little fisherman’s boat with a captain who speaks absolutely no English. Sailing on the rough sea (which is usually the case in these islands), we felt very insecure and greatly regretted we did not book a tour on one of the large boats! A snorkeling tour is highly recommended though! To conclude, I believe that it is still good value for the price but if you accept not to be beachfront, there are probably other better options.

great place to stay, the huts and pool are lovely, 1 minute away from the “secret beach” which is gorgeous and quiet. staff were lovely and friendly, they helped organise a snorkelling trip on a traditional boat and motorbike rentals. transport was organised door to door from our previous accommodation, including the ferry ride, with lovely helpful people the whole way. best location on the island, minutes away from great food and drink and the mushroom bay area is much nicer than the main part of the island. loved our stay here.
