Bali Cottage Sambirenteng

The place was very homey. The room was spacious, and so was the veranda in front of the room. In the surroundings was a cozy garden. The veranda would be a nice place to chill, either during good or bad weather. Several steps away is the beachfront. It's somewhat like a balcony. By request at no additional cost, you can have your breakfast served here. I stayed 2 nights here. Normally breakfast is ready from seven, I was told. But since my schedule was tight, I asked if I could have my breakfast ready at 6:30. My request was granted. Before 6:30, the staff had already started preparing the table for me. The menu was generous and delicious. There was no mineral water in the room. But when I asked for plain water, I received one big jar of water, which I think is more than 2 standard bottles of mineral water. There was no electric kettle either. But when I asked for hot water, the staff graciously boiled me as much drinking water as I needed. What is most unique about this place to me is that I can enjoy both sunrise and sunset from here. In the morning, I got a very clear view of twilight and the sunrise. I went down the steps and could see a glimpse of Mount Rinjani on the right. In the evening, the tide was very low. I could walk along the beach. When I walked further to the right and looked to the left, I could see the sunset and then the twilight sky. Due to the position, the sunset was not as clear as the sunrise. The horizon was concealed by trees. But the setting sun was still visible between the branches. And then after that, the sky threw a canvas of twilight in front of me. Although there were several other accommodations along the beach, it was crowded on the beach. It was very ideal for taking pictures.
