Nirwa Ubud Karma

I stayed here for three weeks during my yoga teacher training. The location is amazing, right in the rice fields and the room overlooks the rice fields. The view from my room was stunning and you can see an amazing sunset every day. There is a nice pool to cool off in and the staff and host were absolute sweethearts and helped out with anything I may need. Highly reccommend!

The most friendly and comfortable hotel I’ve ever stayed in! Felt right at home straight away. Located in the rice fields along a cosy road away from the noise of the Main Street. They organised us a scooter immediately without any issues and consistently made us feel welcome. I will recommend Nirwa Ubud Karma to everyone I know when they come to Bali! 10/10… can’t wait to return in the future :)) thank you again to our lovely hosts! ＜3

We would recommend this home stay. Very friendly family and very flexible with all things. The rooms are very big and the air conditioner was working well. It’s very peaceful around here and the city is nearby 3 minutes to go. Great place ! The breakfast was delishes, too. Fresh fruits and an awesome green pancake. The rooms are clean.

NOT RECOMMENDED, what’s offered& what’s on offer are not compatible. There is no pool nor is there a roof top yoga area . The owners were not there to greet us nor was it explained that a taxi could not reach the venue so we dragged our luggage for 1/2 hour the long way round as no directions were given . The room was large but no hanging space & a tiny blanket spread over a large bed did not suffice . The wooden bench outside had no cushions so was uncomfortable to sit on . Towels & bed linen was hung from our balcony which was unsightly . A Water bottle was supplied but never replenished. The outside areas were littered with old paint tins , ladders , clotheslines & the owners washing , old ceremony paraphernalia & generally untidy . Breakfast was in a dark underground room & very basic . Far Better options for the same price abound nearby . Don’t visit.

The owner and his Family and staffs were very kind. The impressive thing is they always cleaned up hotel. I had joined the YTT at Ubud Yoga House, which is to have good access so every time I wanted to rest during a break time, had a good rest in the hotel. Son of owner took me a ride to the hospital and guided me so that I could be comfortable when I got abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea etc....so so thankful. They treated me like their family. I would happily visit again NIrwa if I go Ubud. The breakfast they give every morning was so nice, delicious.

Good location - very calming atmosphere next to the rice fields, but just a few minutes walking to the buzzing city of Ubud! Great host - Gusti is a super nice and helpful host. Always available if you need anything, and always up for a nice conversation. Clean and tidy - the rooms and the whole homestay were always clean.
