Please save yourself the headache and don’t book. I always say, as a very basic, a hotel needs a comfy bed, hot water and to be clean. I was wrong, before any of that a hotel needs a room! I booked and prepaid for 6 nights months ago and built a trip around our stay here, other hotels, flights, tours everything! Woke up on Monday morning to an email from them cancelling the reservation in a months time due to unforeseen circumstances, I get it, things happen but the calibre of a hotel can be judged not on these things happening which are outside of your control but on how you deal with them when they do. They have offered us no compensation for messing us around, causing stress and aggravation not to mention the additional cost of booking something equivalent. There are no shortage of beautiful hotels in Bali, save yourself a headache and book one that will look after you!
