Great Stay We had a great time at Element Ubud. The staff were super friendly and helpful, though some could improve their English a bit. Big shoutout to William at breakfast, he was super attentive, spoke great English, and totally got what we needed and more.

My recent stay at The Pari Sudha in Ubud, Bali, was delightful overall. The hotel exudes charm and offers a truly secluded getaway. However, there are a few logistical points future visitors should know to set expectations. Accessibility Getting to the hotel can be a bit challenging. The property is not located directly on the main road, and you'll need to navigate a narrow 150ish meter alley on foot or by scooter. When we arrived at the Google Maps pin for The Pari Sudha, we found a small ”reception” desk with no staff present. After calling the hotel, they promptly sent someone to pick us up and assist with our luggage, which was greatly appreciated. However, it would have been much more convenient if this information were shared in advance to avoid confusion. The Property Once you settle in, The Pari Sudha reveals its true beauty. The design is charming and blends seamlessly with the surrounding lush greenery. The pool in front of the forest adds a serene touch, offering sightings of squirrels and other wildlife, making it a peaceful retreat. We opted for the floating breakfast, which, while pricey due to the additional charge for the basket, was a unique experience. Our room came with a private pool just a few steps away. Although small, it was beautifully designed and added to the sense of luxury. This hotel is perfect for those seeking tranquility and a break from the bustling city life. Dining Options The hotel only serves breakfast. For other meals, there are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance, and food delivery options are readily available in Ubud. Be prepared to venture out for lunch or dinner as needed. Nearby Attractions The property also includes a temple on the lower ground, about a 10-minute walk away. Unfortunately, it is not well-maintained, so I’d recommend skipping it to save yourself the hassle. Hospitality The staff were consistently hospitable and accommodating. Their warmth added to the overall positive experience. I hope the property continues to be well-maintained so it can retain its charm for future guests. Final Thoughts Despite the initial challenges of locating and accessing the hotel, my stay at The Pari Sudha was memorable and relaxing. For those looking to unwind amidst nature and experience a quieter side of Ubud, this hotel is an excellent choice.

Very nice room with a private pool looking out at the forest. Dessert and welcome drink on arrival was very nice. Shuttle service to Ubud palace every hour til like 10PM. Worker at the lobby and the entire facility are friendly and always willing to help. It was definitely a very pleasant experience staying at this villa. There were two things that can improve on. The door can use a new lock. Even when we lock the door (from outside). The door can still be pushed open. And there are some mosquitos in the room and some ants and bugs crawling but mostly outside the room.

This hotel is very nice, fifteen minutes away from the city center in a very quiet area (highly appreciated after going through the crowds in the center). I went with my husband, baby and my in law. Our rooms were connected by an interior door, which was very helpful for my family needs. The swimming pool is very unique, in a peaceful atmosphere. The people working at this hotel is extraordinary, all of them are great. The food is good, the rooms are clean, and we had an amazing balinese massage which I recommend other customers to try. We had an amazing 2-night stay at Maya Ubud with my family! This hotel is truly one of the best in Bali, and I can’t wait to return in the future, especially with my kids. The place is perfect for families, offering a serene and beautiful environment that’s also incredibly Instagram-worthy. Everywhere you turn is a stunning photo opportunity! The service was exceptional, and the food was simply amazing. Located right in the center of Ubud, it was easy for us to get around in a short amount of time. We also loved the complimentary daily activities—yoga, paddy walks, and visits to the plantation and arts & crafts area were such unique and enjoyable experiences for our family. The pool service was top-notch too, with towels provided and food delivered right to us whenever needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay special. For my mom’s birthday, they surprised us with a delicious cake and even created an adorable towel monkey—it truly made her day! We also tried the complimentary photo shoot offered by the hotel. The photos turned out fantastic, but purchasing them was a bit pricey. If you want more photos and have time, I’d recommend finding an outside photographer. However, if you’re short on time, the hotel’s option is definitely a good choice. Overall, this was an incredible trip, and staying at Maya Ubud was the highlight. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious, family-friendly, and unforgettable experience in Bali!

It was a great and relaxing stay here. Our room was spacious, was simple and classically decorated with the rice terrace view from the balcony. The grounds were well kept and healing to walk through. Nice view from their open air spa. Very friendly and personable service. Enjoyed the afternoon tea and a special balinese dance with dinner event one of of the evenings. Great location in the middle of restaurants and shops. Saw a couple of monkeys that minded their own business. Will be keen to check out and stay at their other newer Komaneka hotels :)

We adored this villa, it was so picturesque and serene. The main hotel building is on the main road in central Ubud which suffers terrible traffic, but once inside the hotel it’s another world. A minute walk down the path to the back of the hotel to this villa. The pool and the view speak for themselves. Hotel location is perfect for Ubud exploration. Service exceptional. Breakfast spread delicious and changed every day, also included gluten free options. We would definitely book again!
