This was the worst experience I have ever had with a Motel. First night I asked for extra blankets, I was told to turn up the heat in the room. 2nd night I asked for room to get touched up, clean sheets, clean towels, floor swept and trash empty. They said that they usually on do that once every 3 days and it would cost $14.00 extra. When we came back and used the bathroom the toilet plugged. I went to the office, and they said we could move rooms as they had no one to unplug it. I got a plunger from the office and did it myself. on the morning of the 3rd day the toilet got plugged again. This time I asked for it to get fixed and some clean towels. None of that was done when we returned. so I fixed it myself again. I had paid for 4 nights but i could no longer out up with my stay and left a day early. Unless you want a subpar stay do not stay there. We go to Baker City every year and will never stay there again.

Basic motel but clean and friendly. Has all the basic amenities you need. All we needed was a bed and a shower for the night. This place was perfect. Quick check in / out and friendly staff. Would for sure stay again if traveling through. Thank you!!

This hotel was a pleasant surprise as far as bed comfort goes. The room is sparcely furnished, the walls paper thin, but the shower and bed were fine. The room was marginally clean. I kept finding hairs that weren't mine and I wore socks the whole time. The A/C worked well, and the bed was clean. Pick a room on the first floor, so you can back your car right up to the door and watch your valuables. Rooms that offer a microwave and mini fridge cost more. In a pinch, this hotel allowed me a good night's rest (once everyone around me stopped running, flushing or talking), and that was enough to fortify me for the rest of my journey.

I pop in about once or twice a month and I am very impressed with how consistently clean the rooms and grounds are. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are up to date. The manager is always polite, helpful and makes me feel welcome through every stay. I’m also quite happy with how well the grounds are. It is a quiet, safe and clean motel. If your looking for a good nights rest at a fair price, I highly recommend Motel 6 in Baker City.

As a retired airline employee, I have seen many hotels. For a budget motel, this property was simply the best! The rooms are clean, crisp, updated and new. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Peter who was very welcoming and warm and offered me an excellent rate for booking directly with him versus a 3rd party. I was moving to Arizona with the last of my things in my car. Peter reassured me that all would be safe and it was. This property is well maintained, well lit and sits on a nice hill. The clientele appeared to be travelers and some construction workers - everyone was respectful and it was a peaceful night. Thank you Peter for making my brief stay in Baker City a pleasant one!

If all you need is a clean bed and shower, this is perfect. We checked in at 11:45 pm, had a snafu with our reservation (not the hotel’s fault) but the girl at the front desk was friendly and helpful and quickly got us a room. Check out was easy and friendly. A bare bones experience but the staff seems to care about your experience. Would stay again for a bed and shower. No hairdryer in room but I bet they have if you ask.

Super clean, updated with comfy bed & bright colors, cool in 100 degree temps, easily located off Hwy 84, quiet with a lovely sunset. Fridge and micro much appreciated! After a long drive, Peter greeted us with such kindness, and responded with genuine concern when I told him we are allergic to air fresheners hotels sometimes use. Very affordable and short drive to great restaurants downtown Baker City: Altitude is our favorite dinner spot - best burger and homemade pesto. Motel 6 made good coffee in the morning, and it’s close to a great drive through (Sorientoes?) to fill the thermos for the road. We drive thru 4X a year and will stay again.

The facilities were very clean and new, with a higher shower head and friendly, helpful service. A gazebo with seating for guests enjoying the sunset & view and a little conversation. From the seats, cliff-dwelling swallows to watch zipping to and from their nests. Great food available in the town. Cheap: no, good place for an overnight: yes.
