Camping Ferme des Saules

Lovely campsite, spacious pitches. Good sanitary facilities with nice hot showers. We arrived too late as the farm shop was closed but managed to reserve bread for the next morning. Think this will become a regular first night's stop for us.

I only stayed the one night here on my way to the Netherlands. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Facilities were plentiful and well-presented. The onsite shop was tremendous. I have posted a couple of photos that I hope do it justice. If you are looking for a quiet getaway nicely located to Ypres then certainly give this place a go.

Perhaps the best campsite I’ve ever stayed in. Friendly, flexible, smiling and attentive staff. Amazing infrastructure: clean bathrooms, amazing farm shop selling predominantly their own (working farm) produce. We checked in at 8:30pm and the owner greeted us with smiles and allowed us to buy from the shop for supper items. It was incredibly well stocked. Their own strawberries were so fresh and some of the best we have ever tasted. This was our second visit as we had stayed in April and had a great experience off season too. The surrounding area is beautiful with huge skies and we even saw hot air balloons on the horizon. The kids had a blast on the trampoline. They petted the beautiful sheepdog. Charming pits of geraniums here and there… cute ncanins and communal eating areas, bbq facilities… big pitches just next to the farmers fields… we love it! The town of Bailleul is very pretty and 3 mins away. We will make this a regular stop. Thank you Isabelle.

We have just returned from a week camping at this site. As it was our first camping trip to France we wanted a site that wasn't too far of a drive from the ferry. When we arrived we were shown the available pitches and we chose one of the pitches at the back of the site, which are marked out by hedges and are nice and private. The site it's self is basic but has everything you need. The toilets, showers and washing up facilities are all in the same building. It was all clean and modern, but no soap for hand washing (dispensers empty for the duration of our stay). The main toilet, washing block was quite far for us to go on an evening in the dark if the kids needed the toilet so I would recommend taking a camping toilet if you have one. The farm shop on site is excellent. Our kids enjoyed the trampoline and small farm animals. The children's park could be extended if the farm wanted to make more of this. The football table was also a bit hit with our little boy. There was free use of the fridge and microwave etc.. The camp site is in a really good location for visiting sites in both France and Belgium with it being so close to the border. We enjoyed trips to Lillie, Ypres, Dunkirk and just up the road is Mont Noir which has some lovely cafes and duty free type shops and Yopiland for the kids (inflatables). All in all a great location and a lovely site that we would recommend.

Il y a quelques années, nous nous y rendions en camping car. Cette année, nous avons réservé le chalet 6 pers. Nous avons toujours été aussi bien reçu. Belle découverte du chalet. Vous pouvez réserver sans hésitation pour d'autres prestations.

Super endroit propre sympathique produits frais possédant une cuisine et ustensiles un coin de détente nous recommandons vivement de plus la buanderie possède de quoi faire sécher le linge en cas de mauvais temps vraiment au top !!! La boutique propose un large choix de produits frais et artisanaux un super endroit pour se reposer !!!
