The first stop in Malaysia, I feel that I did not come to the wrong place. Two days of stay is enough. I rested and adjusted comfortably. The boss lady is very friendly. She was afraid that we would be cheated by buying seafood, hahaha, but I have to say that the seafood with salt and pepper is very delicious. The meals provided are very delicious, and you can avoid thunder. (Of course, everyone has different requirements) I met different people during the journey, which is fate, and there are different places. In the evening, everyone sang, drank, and danced with the locals. It was a very happy two-day trip. However, I have to say that the Bajau people are not very honest when selling seafood. It is really difficult to bargain during the peak tourist season. You must watch the life and death of the seafood. Don't ask me how I know. The service staff of the accommodation are very enthusiastic. You can stay for two more nights. The three of us stayed in a family room. I think the environment is OK. I look forward to coming again next time. The locals on the island are very enthusiastic, at least I feel very friendly. I saw the fish, the sunset, and caught a day of thunderstorms these days. Room C is similar to room B, room B has dripping water, alas. The hotel sells cheap Bajau seafood. There are three times a day to go to sea to float or dive, and float 30B. I don't know. Saw turtles. Environment: Mabu Island is a large island. Many certified divers live on the island. There are more than a dozen hotels on the island. It is a 40-minute boat ride from the town. There are some primitive Bayao villagers on the left and right sides of the hotel.
Hotel: There are townhouses and two towers, and the accommodation facilities are pretty good.
Catering: The hotel provides three buffet meals a day, which is enough to fill you up. There are Bajau people selling seafood on the beach, and the hotel can process it.
Summary: I went there before the Chinese New Year. The hotel price was around RMB 3,000 per night, which was considered average value for money at the time. There was a pick-up and drop-off service, but the disadvantage was that there was construction nearby that affected the experience.

It takes an hour by boat from the Dragon Inn Pier in Semporna to get to Mabul Island. The hotel you booked includes a round-trip ticket. You can get on the boat to this homestay by registering at Dragon Inn R2.
This is a private homestay on Mabul Island. The cost-effectiveness is relatively high. One room can accommodate three adults. It is suitable for families with children. It is much more affordable than the Mabul Island Resort Hotel next to it.
There are simple meals for breakfast and some free lunch at noon. We buy fresh seafood from the Bajau people on the sea every day and let the kitchen of the homestay process it. The seafood is super cheap and fresh. The processing fee is 15-20 Malaysian ringgit. It's still good. It's also good to use the money saved from staying in the resort to buy more seafood.
If you want to go to the Mabul Island Resort next to it, you can enter for 50 Malaysian ringgits per person. It's right next door. It's quite comfortable to check in, take pictures, and swim.
It's a good trip to save money with children.

Before I checked in, I compared it with a few net red island accommodations in Semporna. Xinjia Motor is not an island, but a water house that is only 10 minutes away from the town because we always wanted to be on an island with land. Accommodation. And we have compared the prices. The ocean view room we live in has double ocean views, and the facilities are better than the new ones. The price includes the round-trip boat fee. It costs one hour to sail one way, three meals a day, and the restaurant regularly does BBQ every week. He sailed three times a day and went to sea to Kapalai. It is really cost-effective to see sea turtles on snorkeling.
After arriving at the store, the workers will take the initiative to go to the dock to help us with our luggage. We do n’t need to do it by ourselves. After going to the front desk, the workers will also help us to pull our luggage to the room. . In addition to going to the sea every day, there are also water slides and motor boats in the store for guests to entertain. The slide is free throughout the day and the motorboat is MYR 120 for 10 minutes.
The only thing that is a bit inadequate is that the platform is piled with building materials, and there are four new sea-view water houses next to it. It's gone.
Go out to sea to experience deep and snorkeling. The diving suit provided to the girls by the deep dive is super beautiful, and all we shoot are blockbuster feelings. You can see the shipwreck. Turtle, big grouper, school of fish storm. Already scheduled to take another dive certificate next time.
The only thing to pay attention to is to communicate with the customer service in the store after booking and send the passport information to the customer service so that you can buy the dock tax in advance. We just don't know, delaying sailing time. Mabul Island in general can play for three days and two nights, and live well. Recommended

Had a really good stay here!!! From the boat transfer from Semporna Jetty to the resort, the staff were very attentive and helpful. Upon arrival at the Water Bungalow, I was welcomed with a welcome drink and a brief introduction and orientation of the facilities and the amenities was given by Jasni. Loved the spacious room and the stay was very comfortable. Sea nomads come by daily and offer coconuts and fresh seafood. If you are willing to buy they will be very happy; if you are not keen, just decline politely and they will leave you alone. Meals here were great, there was a variety of mains, fruits and desserts available. The compound is also very beautiful and the view is breathtaking at every corner. Indeed more expensive, but you are paying for the resort being in one of the best locations. They also provide diving and snorkelling services. The Water Bungalow Housereef is a divers heaven and it has many interesting pelagic animals to see. Truly loved my stay here and I believe I will be back.

One island and one hotel, great, beach, snorkeling, crab catching, shark watching, fishing, banana boat, speed boat, glass boat for free, you can play every day, and finally we did three routes, all of which are island hopping 2 -Three islands, js itinerary is very wonderful, I will come again next time. The proprietress is very humane. Even if I went late and didn't have lunch, she gave me a side dish to solve my lunch problem. The dogs are also very cute. We can see water birds, but we don’t have a chance to see turtles. I’ll try my best next time.

GGuest UserStaying here was a truly memorable experience. The resort is set in a serene location with a picturesque lake where you can fish and even take a boat ride around. The unique touch of being able to bring your catch to the kitchen and have the chef cook it up for dinner was a real highlight. You can also buy fresh seafood from the local market and ask the chef to prepare it however you like for a very reasonable fee. The food, prepared by the owner and chef who hail from Guangdong, was the best I’ve tasted in Semporna. Each dish was bursting with flavor, showcasing authentic Chinese cuisine at its finest.
The resort is about 15 minutes from Semporna town, but they offer a free shuttle service to and from the town, which makes it incredibly convenient for guests.
At night, there’s outdoor karaoke under the stars, creating a fun and relaxing atmosphere. Overall, the resort had a homely vibe, with the owner and staff going above and beyond to make us feel welcome.
The resort itself is new, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable. I felt right at home the entire time. The peaceful surroundings, combined with excellent service and food, made this a perfect getaway.
To note that the staff mainly communicates in Mandarin, so knowing a bit of the language would be helpful.
I stayed here for a night after a 5 day dive trip and this was the perfect place to unwind and relax. I loved my stay so much that I can’t wait to return. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat in Semporna!

**Environment:**
The resort is so amazing that I wish I could keep it a secret rather than share it with you. Located in the middle of the sea, with no other structures around, you can easily enjoy the sunrise, sunset, and the starry sky every day. During the daytime, you can participate in various water sports, and if you're lucky, you might spot a sea turtle at night.
**Food:**
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included when you book the hotel, so there’s no need to worry about meals. The resort offers seafood and local cuisine daily. Please note: Visitors should bring their own snacks and drinks before boarding the resort, as it only provides water, coffee, and tea.
**Facilities & Service:**
All the staff here will treat you kindly, even if there might be a language barrier (English is spoken here!). If you're afraid of swimming, the staff will accompany you while you're in the sea (life jackets are provided in each room). Each room also has a balcony with a lounge chair where you can relax, grab a beer, and do nothing but enjoy the soothing sea breeze.
You may not want to stay in the middle of nowhere like I did to escape from modern civilization, but I truly recommend staying at the resort for at least 2 nights. You'll definitely feel completely recharged!
Finally, I want to say that the view is so astonishing that I can hardly describe it with my limited English. You must visit this place yourself.

What troubled me most was the fire alarm going on & off for about half hour to 45 mins at about 2 am. That was quite disturbing & I forgot to ask what happened when I checked out on December 8 morning. I was on the 4th floor

JJi ChengOverall I enjoyed our stay in sky water villa. When I was booking I read the reviews also worried that they are a bit old, so that the houses might not be well maintained. But during my stay I feel like the houses are used but still in okay manner. The best thing for this hotel is that I think they have the best house reef, and you can see turtles at night from your balcany. I went snorkling a few times during my stay I saw quite a few clown fish aka nemo and many fishes and even a sea eel one day. They also provide “galss” kayak which you can watch sunset on it. And the best thing they offer is that the tours you book with the villa starts around 10 am, you can just get ready and wait in your room, and when the boat is here the staff will get you from your room, and you’ll finish the tour around 3-4 pm which is the afternoon tea time at the villa. Instead of in the town area you need wake up early and meet and wait at the jetty around 8:15 am . And power supply is stable just may be ocassion blackout but it would turn back on very soon. However I do think they need to clean their air con as the one in our room seems very dusty, we had to clean the filter ourselves, they were very dusty. And during the afternoon coz our villa faces the sunset direction the air con feels a bit not strong enough. And the aircon outer unit is installed right at the room’s wall so it’s a little bit noisy, I’d suggest why not just use a more powerful window unit instead. The food is so so, but it’s difficult to cater everyone’s preference for food. The hotel is not cheap and maybe not very cost effective compare to hotels in other places, but to be fair i think if you want to go to semporna, this might be a reasonable option as overall semporna and malaysia is very expensive for tourists. And i higly recommend to stay at least 2-3 nights instead of 1 night to fully enjoy and relax yourself.

TThe ImpregnableThis hotel is clean and situated in a great location. The staff is courteous and helpful. The room is spacious. The bed sheet and pillow cover are spotless clean and smell good. The toilet is decent with hot shower. Still, there are water marks on the toilet wall that are still acceptable. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. There are convenience stores and ATMs in the vicinity. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

Service: The hotel's arrangements are in place and they can help you solve any problems you have. We booked a charter boat for snorkeling for two people. The instructor is also very professional and will dive to the bottom of the sea to help you catch the fish from the bottom of the sea.
Facilities: As soon as I entered the room, I couldn't wait to experience the slide. At first, I was worried that I would sink into the sea if I slid down. There are life jackets at the front desk, so there is no need to worry.
Free dinner: The dishes are very rich, the chicken is very tender, the crabs are also very fresh, there is crab roe in it, you can’t get enough of the shrimps

I came down around 7am to checkout but both staff are sleeping at the receptionist area😅 I dont mind if u want to sleep but at least 7am u should wakeup already.
