amazing property! an experience in itself :) rooms were extremely royal The local wine was very tasteful Service was top notch remains closed during the winter months so booking in advance is recommended Drive to Bagnol is super scenic The French countryside

Amazing hotel in a beautiful setting. Top tier experience. Rooms were perfection. The only thing that would have improved our experience is if the air conditioning worked and if housekeeping would have brought us the fan they offered and the iron we requested.

Probably the most amazing place I have ever stayed. The entire staff were incredible, friendly, engaging and made our stay (which was too short) incredible. Truly a must stay for anyone going to the southern burgundy area and is on the list of a “have to return to” chateau. Food was a true gastronomic experience and the mixology was incredible, the Vivant martini is an absolute must.

Initial impression is amazing. The main building and grounds are stunning and the renovations beautifully done. But They detail is sadly not any where close to 5 start standard. Check in process was shambolic. The grounds are lovely but the orientation tour was functional at best. The room is just about satisfactory but no more. A curtain to the bathroom rather than a door is cheap. The door to the adjoining room is not sealed so the background sound of voices from next door and sound of their telephones ringing was beyond annoying. As for the tv channel selection this is abysmal. No mainstream pay tv channels is not what I expect from a 5 star hotel. The condescending attitude of the staff when I called to ask about channels to watch the Euro 24 football championships was unacceptable. While the views and buildings look great. This is a spot to avoid.

Excellent service from all the staff. Excellent food in both restaurants and overall a very good experience! And then there is the wine! Being in the Beaujolais region the wines are simply divine and the sommelier certainly chose some wonderful wines to drink. My only negative comment would a lack of a shower. Appreciate we were staying in a castle but a shower really would have made the room. By the way the room was fabulous!

Sleeping in a stone castle is soooo relaxing. In the morning, gazing out the window I felt that I was waking up in a fairy tale! Truly so beautiful. The doves of black, white and speckled flying together… Thank you Laure and Taddeo especially for looking out for this American.

Knowing the Chateau since about 17 years, we still find it wonderful. One Highlight is this magnificent view over the landscape and the fine paths to walk around. The service was very good, the restaurant much better than in past times with a team of very nice and helpful young staff. perfect meal, good wine! And a really wonderful breakfast. Additional plus: safe car park.

Such a beautiful hotel!!!! The room was spacious. The staff was wonderful. The grounds were beautiful to sit outside and enjoy a glass of wine! Very comfortable beds. The room service breakfast was very good!!!!! Would stay there again!!!

Beautiful Chateau, great food and service The Sunday lunch was a wonderful experience and atmosphere. The blend of new band old architecture works brilliantly. We cannot wait to return soon. We left our mini Bose speaker in the room and the service to return it was a welcome surprise.
