Boutique Hotel Relais Chalet Wilhelmy

We recently stayed at a charming boutique hotel in Bad Wiessee, conveniently located within a short walking distance to the beautiful shore of Tegernsee. The hotel itself is tastefully decorated, providing a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Our room, situated on the roadside, was spacious and featured a lovely bathroom, making our stay comfortable. The breakfast offered was delightful, with a variety of delicious options to start the day. Additionally, the staff was both friendly and professional, contributing positively to our overall experience. However, our stay was marred by some significant inconveniences. The hotel was undergoing roof repairs to address leakages, which unfortunately resulted in the entire building being shrouded in scaffolding. This construction work caused considerable noise the leakages left visible stains on the sealing and a noticeable smell of humidity in the room. Regrettably, we were not informed about the ongoing construction in advance, nor were we offered any discount for the inconvenience it caused. While the staff did apologize for the disruption, it would have been appreciated to have received some compensation or at least a prior warning. Overall, while the hotel has a lot of potential and many positive aspects, the timing of our visit was less than ideal due to the construction. We hope to return in the future to experience the hotel in its full charm, free from the disturbances of repair work.

We had an exceptional stay at the Boutique Hotel Relais Chalet Wilhelmy a week ago. Lovely and intimate family owned hotel. Much warmer and friendlier atmosphere than many of the larger corporate hotels in the area. Very comfortable and recently renovated nature room and excellent staff and service. Quite a serene setting. Appreciated that hotel and staff stayed open for us, the only guests due to a big snow storm in Bavaria. Breakfast and dinner were first-rate. Mrs Ziegelbauer, the owner, was very welcoming and accommodating and made excellent recommendations for the area that made our visit memorable (including the hike to a lunch at the beautiful and delicious Saurussel Alm am Tegernsee). Nice location in Bad Wiessee - close to lake but a little removed and more relaxed that busier towns of Tegernsee and Rottach-Egern. Beautiful 12k walk along a path from Bad Wiessee to Tegernsee and then took the boat back. Outdoor sauna and pool sadly but understandably not open due to the vast snow accumulation. Storm made for a winter wonderland with festive and high quality weekend Christmas markets in each town. A memorable visit and would highly recommend both the hotel and area.

Sehr schönes und ruhiges Hotel, familiär geführt, tolles und sehr nettes Personal - immer freundliche Worte. Frühstück und Essen sehr gut, jeder Wunsch wird erfüllt. Der Ort und die Gegend sehenswert und erholsam. Es hat uns sehr gefreut und wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt bei Ihnen und in Ihrem Hause.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit im Hotel Wilhelmy. Es war alles hundertprozentig perfekt. Die Zimmer waren hell,groß, geräumig und sehr modern eingerichtet. Das Frühstück Buffet ließ keinen Wunsch offen. Alles mit sehr viel Liebe angerichtet. Es schmeckte alles ausgezeichnet. Hier möchten wir uns auch bei Carmen bedanken, die uns jeden Morgen beim Frühstück mit einem strahlenden Gesicht begrüßte und an unserem Tisch immer alles toll vorbereitet hatte. Das Hotel Wilhelmy liegt nur 5 Gehminuten vom Tegernsee entfernt, trotz der zentralen Lage ganz ruhig. Wir haben uns rundum sehr wohl gefühlt. Herzlichen Dank für die schöne Woche.

Ein persönlich geführtes, sehr schönes, gepflegtes Hotel in ruhiger und doch zentraler Lage in Bad Wiessee. Die persönliche Betreuung ist vorbildlich, die Inhaberin empfiehlt Leihräder, Wanderungen und Restaurants vor Ort. Man fühlt sich jederzeit umsorgt.
