The staff was very polite, welcoming and friendly upon my arrival as I was very much looking forward to playing the Jurmala course while on vacation. The Locker Room was accommodating, not overly spacious, but did have lockable lockers so that was very nice. The cart was parked outside the Pro Shop, along w/ my "Premium" set of rental clubs, and while the cart was nice and comfortable w/ a very nice GPS of the course, holes, greens and yardages, the rental clubs were laughable. A minimal set of Cleveland clubs, that had seen better days. Course wise, there was nothing spectacular and no signature holes. For a Nicklaus designed course, I was expecting something a lot more memorable. After the round, I stopped at the Pro Shop as I wanted to purchase an item w/ the course logo. They had the requisite shirts and hats but NOTHING with the course logo on any item. No ball marker, no hats, no golf balls. This was quite disappointing. Overall, my experience was underwhelming and I wished I had booked a different course in Riga.

We booked a room for three people (myself, my sister, and my 8-year-old daughter), but on arrival were given a room with just one small double bed. Despite my reservation clearly stating three guests, the only options offered were to share one bed, pay extra for another room, or cancel and leave. This was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. Other issues also highlighted the poor standards: dirty public toilets, expired drinks in both rooms, a used bottle left under the bed, a faulty toilet flush, dirty wine bottle, kettles with scale, and only two towel sets in a room booked for three. While the surroundings are beautiful and housekeeping did a decent job, the service was indifferent and far below five-star standards. To make matters worse, hotel management never replied to my complaint, which shows a complete lack of care for guests.

The golf club has worst customer service we've ever encountered in a golf course. Slow, sloppy and uninterested. A golf cart is NOT included to the green fee although the fancy internet suggests otherwise. "No carts available" was the answer... Until we paid 50€ per cart. Suddenly they appeared. Also different pricing for Finnish tourists and others. Slow customer service as well. Lack of snacks available after front 9, only some candy bars and Pringles'. Go to other golf clubs in Riga instead.

First time using a SYHA, which I was looking forward to, since it’s a charity. However, it’s not for us. The room is basic, and the beds were comfortable for myself and my daughter, which is what we expected. But, we were cold & the central heating was off, along with me not realising that it was a shared toilet & shower. At this point, I wasn’t fully discouraged, but after a fire alarm had us in the car park at 0100Hrs, which had us back inside quickly, but there was no head count or procedures followed. Then there’s other people who don’t give a dam how much noise they make, resulting in 4-5 hours sleep. Having paid £7 more per night, than the ensuite hotel room we stayed in, in Inverness the following 2 nights (which included breakfast), this was not value for money, nor somewhere we will return to. Just some common respect & decency by others would make all the difference, but that’s the age we live in.

Clean, comfortable stay Overall, the hostel was nice. The staff seemed to pay extra attention to cleanliness. We had a twin room which had a sink, a night table, and several hooks to hang items. There was no soap or toiletries. There was no other table to place things. Bags went on the floor. The space was small, but adequate for two of us. There were private and gang showers and toilets. We didn't use the kitchen space, but it looked clean and was adequately supplied. Get there early or there will be no place to park.

Great yha to stay It was great. So much better than expected. Beware only three people can cook at a time as there is only three cookers. That said the kitchen is a very good size and generally well equipped. Good sized dinning room. Overall the centre is well equipped, serviced and friendly helpfull staff. Add to boot about a ten minute walk to the town for supplies etc.

Beautiful, in 2018 opened, but still looks like new golf club and hotel. Suite (room 109) is spacious and beautiful. Huge bathroom. 2 tv-s 😄 You have all necessary amenities available. Gorgeous sunset from room terrace. All hotel rooms have views to the beautiful golf course! Delicious breakfast. 20 minutes from Riga center by car. Very quiet surrounding and during night. Outlet village is 3 min away.
