Nous sommes restés une semaine dans cet hôtel et avons séjourné dans le dortoir. Au début nous étions seuls mais à partir du 3e jour d'autres voyageurs sont arrivés et les nuits étaient d'un calme absolu. Excellent rapport qualité-prix

Amazing location set amongst the rice terraces with stunning views across the hills. Restaurant is set in one of the stilt houses with beautiful sunrise. All staff are so friendly and Tim and his wife always have a smile to welcome you. We had an adventurous and fun guided walk around the local area visiting local hill tribes and had the privilege of being invited in to share the tasty rice wine and home made whisky. Definitely recommend the cooking course too.

We were lucky to stay one night here -- my wife, two adult daughters and me -- as part of a guided 2-day tour in Pu Luong and Ninh Binh. Dynamite location and facilities, very luxurious given the remote village setting the resort overlooks. Good food and bar, too!

The food was fantastic, probably the best dinners I had in Vietnam, really! I highly recommend eating there. If you are staying overnight, get the rooms with mountain view, you will not be disappointed, it's worth the money. The location is great, and most importantly the staff and owners are very kind and welcoming, I loved them. The only aspect that was less desirable was that the bungalows were not fully sealed (main doors and toilet window) meaning that mosquitos and all kinds of critters could get into your room. To compensate, they have a bed mosquito net and the air con and ceiling fan did the job just right.. to keep your room cool. Experience Pu Luong's surrounding nature in comfort!

We stayed for 3 nights with Tim and his family at this resort in Pu Luong. As a trip advise I would definitely recommend Pu Luong over Sapa. The unspoiled views - especially from this resort as it has the best location away from the main road - are reason enough. You can easily visit the famous waterwheels, cave, waterfalls and local markets from here. The staff will arrange all you need from motorbike rental to massages. The prices for everything are more expensive in Pu Luong compared to the lowlands, but this makes sense since you are a long way up a mountain. Boutique Garden has a full all day a la carte menu that they manage to keep up even in low season. Whenever we came to the restaurant there was always a table set for us and we only once had something unavailable - they made sure it was there the next day. Get the grilled fish, its amazing. The resort is fairly new, so in terms of clean and comfort no complaints.

This is a very simple, ecco-friendly place run by a lovely couple who speak excellent English and will go the extra mile to help you. The bed, on a huge platform, was very comfortable, there was a ceiling fan and air conditioning. The WiFi worked well and the whole area is blissfully quiet. Dinner at night was delicious but pricy. Now for some points I feel need raising urgently: the lack of a fridge/minibar in the room is really bad, with the hot weather its essential to be able to keep drinks cold, even if only water; the lack of lighting on the steps and pathways, treacherous especially when it rains. On this subject, the resort is totally unsuitable for the disabled or anyone with mobility problems, there are so many steep steps and mostly no handrails. Cars can't reach the actual hotel so you have to walk from the road, the signage is poor too, with small signs almost hidden in foliage. Breakfast is a small buffet catering for the Asian palette. Do book a mountain view room, the views are stunning.

We were very lucky for having the opportunity to visit the paradise. Amazing view to an endless rice terraces and mountains. There is also a great walking path to track around and in the woods. The bungalow is surrounded by trees and green plants, so beautiful. The balcony was the best part, one step into the fields. The team was very nice and welcoming, and there was a manager who knows English very well, which helped us communicating with the team, and made sure that we are well and happy. The food offered in this hotel's restaurant is mostly local food, but any customization and special requests can be made. Also, the option to eat at any time we wanted, was very comfy. There is also a very nice pool, but we didn't have much time to dive in.

We got room 502, which probably got the best views in the resort. From the balcony, even from the bed, stunning views over the rice paddies. The room is rather rustic, with a good size bathroom with walk in shower. After 2 dreadful year of covid lock downs, the owners were extremely friendly and helpful. In the middle of wet rice fields one can expect plenty of insects, so the mosquito net over the bed was an absolute necessity. Breakfast was rather limited if you don't feel like noodle soup in the morning. This is not 5 or 4 star accommodation, but it is a nice experience, worth spending a night.
