When booking this hotel for a weekend break of peace and relaxation we were not advised of the building site directly next to the hotel. Having spent the covid years working in social care it was especially booked for the peaceful location, pool and views, we even upgraded our room to enjoy the outside space. The building site next door ran from early morning until early evening, the noise and disruption was all consuming and very loud, the dust and lack of privacy meant we could not use our outside space, the pool or eat breakfast outside and had to leave the hotel all day to get away from the construction site. The management did not respond to our issues with the stay, we were not offered a different room that was not directly next to the building site with the crane view and building workers from the window. *********** who offer this hotel still do not make any potential customers aware that there is building going on. We asked if we could keep our room until our later flight to change after going out for the day and were told it was already booked, in fact it was still available to book on the website. If we had stayed at a different time I'm sure the review would be different, however as the owners have no interest in the happiness of their guests, are not open and honest about what is currently going on before booking or even any interest in responding, it was a very expensive and much needed holiday ruined and I would not recommend staying here.

Das Hotel liegt gut im Naturschutzgebiet von Sintra, etwas höher auf dem Berg und hat einen tollen Blick auf den Atlantic. Es befindet sich in einem Mikroklima, ist deswegen etwas kühler als am Strand und oft bewölkt. Bikes gibt es nicht für alle und Yoga am Beach wird nicht angeboten. Die Zimmer sind ok-ish, allerdings viel zu teuer für was es am Ende ist. Gäste sind cool, es ist auch insgesamt etwas Besonderes, aber wie gesagt, Preis/Leistung stimmt nicht. Frühstück ist gut und frisch, das Personal freundlich.
