We stayed here expecting a 5-star experience, but unfortunately, what we got was far from it — at best, this is a 3-star hotel, and that’s being generous. We were first given a disabled-access room, which we found strange but accepted without complaint. After a long day of traveling, we were hoping for a peaceful night’s sleep. Instead, we were kept awake by a constant, high-pitched alarm sound coming from outside. When we called maintenance, the only solution offered was to “close our balcony door.” The staff member spoke no English and clearly didn’t understand the severity of the issue. Needless to say, we barely slept. The following morning, we requested a room change. Reception was incredibly unhelpful and dismissive, saying they’d “make a note” and “look into it.” It took nearly 30 minutes of back-and-forth before they finally agreed to give us a different room. Thankfully, the new room was quieter and more standard, but that’s where the positives mostly end. Here’s why this hotel fails to meet even basic 5-star expectations: 1. Cleanliness – Both rooms we stayed in were dirty. Hair was visible on the floors and in corners, and general upkeep was poor. 2. Dining Policy – We were half-board guests, yet even a glass of tap water during meals was not included. Only all-inclusive guests were allowed tap water, and we were forced to pay for bottled water. 3. In-Room Entertainment – No smart TVs. Just five local/Arabic channels, no Netflix or streaming capabilities. Completely outdated. 4. Housekeeping – Inconsistent. Some days the bed was made, but floors weren’t cleaned. The balcony was cleaned only on our last day. 5. Extra Charges – Despite being a “resort,” sun loungers around the beach were not included. You have to pay €7.50 per day. 6. Repetitive Food – The buffet was practically the same every day. The only variation we saw was sushi offered on two days. 7. Dietary Concerns Ignored – If you have allergies or dietary restrictions, avoid this place. Food is often unlabelled or incorrectly labelled, with no ingredient lists available. 8. No Signature Dining – Unlike most proper resorts, there’s no a la carte or signature restaurant you can book for a special meal. 9. Poor Entertainment – Animation was nearly non-existent. Staff appeared unmotivated and uninterested. Activities were announced with no enthusiasm whatsoever. 10. Towel Policy Not Enforced – The hotel claims towels can’t reserve loungers, but this is ignored most days. Guests claimed sunbeds at 7am and nothing was done about it. 11. Indoor Pool Chaos – Though heated, it was always packed with unsupervised kids jumping and splashing, with no clear rules or monitoring. 12. Stairwells Filthy – The staircases leading to the rooms were dirty and completely neglected. See attached photos if you’re considering booking. The hotel is far from being a five-star hotel!!! At first glance, everything is beautiful, clean, neat, but... The rooms are cleaned very poorly, water is provided only once a day of check-in, slippers too. No toothbrushes are provided at all, the water pressure is not very good, there is no shower from the ceiling, and the one on the wall is not adjustable in tilt and height. There is no iron and ironing board in the room. The towels are changed every day. It is obvious that there was a recent cosmetic repair, from which many traces remained. All the buttons are touch-sensitive, collected in one panel, which is not at all convenient. They smoke in the rooms, you can feel it when walking along the corridor, no one monitors this. Cockroaches were found in the bathroom...!! As for the restaurant, the food is delicious, just 90% is repeated, the waiters are polite and know their business. In addition to breakfast, water and coffee are not provided during dinner, only for an additional fee. There is one indoor and three outdoor pools on the territory, direct access to the beach, which, according to the administration, is not well maintained, since the New Year holidays are not the tourist season for them. There is also nothing to do in the city, since almost everything is closed. The administration does not speak English well, I saw only one Russian-speaking employee and that was in the restaurant.
