Atlantica Aeneas Resort

Our family of four had an eleven night stay here this month. It was absolutely lovely. Everything was perfect! The food is delicious and very varied. The swimming pools are big and clean. We particularly enjoyed the Serenity pool as our children are in their twenties and this is an adult only pool. It is a very peaceful and luxurious pool. The staff are all very friendly and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble and the hotel seemed to pay real attention to detail. We went to the local waterpark which was super. We also visited Nissi beach most days which is a stunning beach. We had a wonderful holiday and would really recommend this hotel.

We have been to Aeneas several times both as a couple and now a family. The staff are wonderful, the location is beautiful (opposite Nissi beach), and the pools are Brilliant (especially the pirate pool for kids). Food is varied (kids section less so), there's Italian night, Far East night, Cypriot night etc. This year even a gelato stall🍦. The Green and Grill offer finer foods and table service so worth booking in (gets booked quickly). The spa is really very good, professional and reasonable. Each treatment has been thoroughly relaxing and left me completely zenned! The kids club is Great with varied activities and lots of enthusiasm provided. The kids parties are at a cost but worth it 😍. We have loved our stay each and every time. Yes the rooms could do with a little investment now and yes the evening entertainment is hit and miss, but for a large complex designed to meet everyone's needs they do a super super job. There's great food, snacks, drinks (extensive cocktails menu), small kids play area, pools, fitness activities plus gym, games, Fab views...what more do you need?! Welcome to Paradise they say 😍. I honestly love this hotel we have stayed here 3 times with our large family, we returned to Cyprus this month and as it was only 3 of us we tried a different hotel one of the Tui platinum further up Ayia Napa a bit more quiet, my biggest regret this hotel is definitely on par with the platinum hotels Tui offer, The buffet always has a good range of food and staff are very friendly. It’s always clean and stuff for the kids to do.

Home from a truly wonderful stay and honest review. Food & Dining For an all-inclusive buffet, the quality was exceptional — breakfast, lunch, and dinner all offered something to enjoy, all perfectly presented with flair and care. The carved meats were a highlight, melt-in-the-mouth tender, and I appreciated how thoughtfully they were repurposed (for example, roast lamb one day became gyros the next). While some say all-inclusive buffets are repetitive, I found plenty of variety with twists on the staples, plus reliable options for children and those with dietary needs. My only suggestion would be to dedicate a section each day to traditional Cypriot cuisine. Part of the joy of visiting Cyprus is sampling local dishes, and even a single authentic dish of the day would elevate the buffet to a true five-star standard. The à la carte options varied. The Grill and Green restaurant was outstanding — the lamb shank was unforgettable and highly recommended. By contrast, the Taverna was disappointing, feeling more like pre-packaged food than authentic Cypriot dining. Snacks could also be improved; many three-star hotels in Cyprus offer traditional sandwiches, which would be a welcome touch here. That said, the chicken nuggets were a big hit! The all-inclusive drink and cocktail menu was quite basic, and cocktails were not available during dinner, which was a little surprising for a five-star property. Service & Hospitality Customer service at reception was excellent — very much five-star. I reported an issue with my room, was promptly shown an alternative, and the move was completed within 20 minutes. Throughout my stay, staff were eager to please and very accommodating. In the bars, although staff were kind and polite, they appeared rushed. For a five-star atmosphere, I would have expected a more relaxed, unhurried style of service. Adding extra bar staff would help create that smoother, more luxurious experience, and the addition of self-service soft drink dispensers would also help cut down queues and ease the pressure on staff. Grounds & Facilities The grounds were stunning — vast, spotless, and beautifully maintained. I was impressed by how much care goes into keeping such a large complex clean and perfectly presented. The plants and landscaping complemented the swimming pools and flowing water features beautifully, making the whole setting feel serene and impressive. Rooms My room was clean, fresh, and modern, with a very comfortable bed. Housekeeping was excellent — it felt like a deep clean had been done every day. Bathrobes, slippers, and both bath and beach/pool towels were provided and changed daily, which was a lovely touch. The only improvements I would suggest are upgrading the in-room tea/coffee facilities and the fridge, which would enhance the overall feel of the room.
