Manas Resort with Petting Zoo

We stopped for a snack break from Mumbai to Nashik. Mr Shantaram and Ms Gospel were very courteous during restaurant service. The ambience is good. The food was also good. The place is a good pitstop. We have also stayed here a few times. It could do with some more greenery and shade.

April 2025 Pathetic rooms. Ac not working, no water in taps. Inspite of telling them at the time of booking that we have senior citizens with us, rooms allotted to us were in extreme corner with huge steps. Parking area had no lights, it was pitch dark and we had to remove luggage from the car using phone torch. We had to change 3 rooms because either ac not working in one room, rooms smelling of fresh paint or frogs in the washroom, lizard near the bed, water leaking from fridge. At 1.30 am their technician was repairing the fan regulator as the speed was low even when we had switched the fan to extreme fast. We were finally allotted rooms at 2 am….. we reached manas at 11.30 pm and we were struggling for proper rooms with senior citizens and kids with us. Never had such a bad experience in life. We also finally requested for a refund as we had done prior booking with advance payment, but they denied the refund too

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this resort! The location is stunning — peaceful, scenic, and perfectly situated for a relaxing getaway. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, offering both comfort and style. The food was consistently delicious, with a great variety to choose from, and everything was freshly prepared. What really stood out, though, was the staff — every single person we interacted with was warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. The service overall was exceptional — prompt, attentive, and thoughtful in every way. One of the highlights of our stay was the petting zoo — such a charming addition that added so much fun, especially for families and animal lovers. Highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and unique experiences. We can’t wait to come back!

The hospitality of Mr. Harish shantaram Pandit was so warm and excellent.food served by Ms. Picy was very delicious. Dal makhani and Paneer butter masala was so yummy. And the Way Picy and Harish served .it was very good. Thanks a lot for both of them.

We recently stayed at Manas Resort, Igatpuri, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The main highlight is undoubtedly the Petting Zoo, which operates for two hours in the morning and two hours in the evening. It is a delightful attraction for kids, and even adults will find themselves enjoying it without realizing how quickly time passes. The best part of our visit was the warm and friendly attitude of the staff — from the reception desk to the petting zoo team and the restaurant crew, everyone was welcoming and helpful. A special mention goes to Ankul Chauhan and Harish from the restaurant staff. They were extremely polite and attentive. Harish, in particular, recommended some excellent chicken dishes that we thoroughly enjoyed. The resort has two separate restaurants for vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisine. We dined only at the non-veg restaurant, where the food tasted good, although the beer options were limited. One thing to note is that food prices are on the higher side, so I recommend opting for an all-inclusive package (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) when booking online — it offers better value. The breakfast buffet was especially enjoyable, offering a good spread with a live dosa and omelette counter. The property also features two swimming pools, one for adults and one for children, both well-maintained and enjoyable. Suggestions for Improvement: 1. The Flamingo Bar with its outdoor fountain-side seating has a fantastic ambiance, but currently, they only serve starters and drinks. Offering a full dinner service in this space would greatly enhance the guest experience. 2. Room service was disappointing. Despite repeated requests for basic necessities like tissue paper and for bellboys, no assistance was provided. Eventually, I had to personally go down and fetch a bellboy. 3. The room we stayed in was on the second floor, and there was no elevator. Unfortunately, my wife suffered a leg injury during the stay and had to manage stairs throughout. Installing an elevator is strongly recommended. 4. The washbasin tap in the room was difficult to operate, especially for children. A simpler and more user-friendly design would be appreciated. While the property has much to offer, the lack of basic room service significantly impacted our overall experience. I would deduct one star solely for this reason. With a few improvements, this resort could offer a truly exceptional stay.
