Black Isle Holiday Apartments

Absolutely massive place for a large group, however as its apartments you can hear everyone else as its an old building. It's also on a busy main road with no double glazing so it's very noisy. The beds were awful, after a week we are all exhausted and didn't sleep well. We weren't allowed to use the log burners, the conservatory was freezing so didn't use it plus there was a leak. The furniture is very worn. The kitchen fan is industrial and really loud. Basically it's an old building, was a hotel so it's not cosy or comfortable. I felt the need to leave an honest review because I feel the photos and reviews on other websites are very misleading. Fortunately we had fun as 2 families, we loved the area and did lots of exploring. The coop across the road was very helpful but there's lots of litter around left by kids who use the courts and benches behind.

Me and a friend stayed in the Red Kite apartment, which is accessed up a flight of stairs. The two bedrooms are ensuite and there is a further toilet/shower next to the living room. The bedrooms amd en* suites were spotlessly clean, the beds and bed linen were comfortable and clean. The kitchen has microwave, hob/oven and washing machine abd was clean & tidy. the living room was also spotless. I absolutely loved staying here, the area is nice and quiet and the accomodation for the price was a bargain - I recommend this place and would stay here again !.
