Le Clos Saluces

What a hidden gem! Our friends found this fabulous guest house/B&B and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and extremely comfortable. Benoît and Jacques are wonderful hosts, so fun to chat with. Ask them to show you the before and after photos of the gut renovation they did to create this charming spot. Outdoor spaces are sweet and comfortable. I'm a fan.

Le Clos Saluces is a true and unique gem in the heart of Avignon. The attention to detail and the warmth of the hosts make this place exceptional. The couple spent four years renovating it, and the results are stunning — a perfect hideaway. We’ve traveled a lot, and to some fantastic places as well, but this place stands out, especially being a B&B. Benoît and Jacques' personal touch is evident in every corner. The breakfast is fantastic, the garden is well maintained and beautiful, and the rooms are spacious, impeccable and with comfortable beds. It had everything a hotel would offer and despite all these luxuries, the price was very moderate. Le Clos Saluces is tranquil but still located in the middle of Avignon, with great recommendations for sights and food from the every day. We highly recommend this place and can not thank Benoît and Jacques enough for their outstanding hospitality and their genuine interest in people!

Le Clos Saluces is a gem. Benoit and Jacques are consummate hosts; professional, personable, attentive, and helpful. Their guest house is a beautifully restored building a short walk from the Palais des Papes in Avignon. Our room was spacious and tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean, with a very comfortable bed. Jacques made dinner reservations at various restaurants for the three nights we were there (all were excellent choices), and very helpful with suggestions to get the most out of our visit. My wife and I were very pleased with our stay at Le Clos Saluces, and will definitely stay again if we are planning a return visit to Avignon.

My wife and I stayed at Le Clos Saluces for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. Benoit and Jacques were incredible hosts. They communicated very well and were always willing to offer advice for daytime activities or offer dinner recommendations. In fact, they even offered to call several restaurants to make reservations for us. The accommodations are stunning and clean. We enjoyed breakfast outside in the courtyard each morning and we enjoyed a beverage each evening with friends before going out to dinner. This place is truly a hidden gem in Avignon and we hope to visit again in the near future!

We selected this property based on the numerous excellent reviews, and despite high expectations, we were completely delighted! This is a Bed & Breakfast (chambre d'hôtes) and the owners Benoît and Jacques lovingly restored an old, dilapidated home and turned it into a stunning, 19th century-looking, family townhome. The four-year renovation included rebuilding the property and creating a peaceful lush central courtyard. No details were spared, including rebuilt stone stairs, parquet floors, exposed wood beams, fireplaces, and modern amenities. We had a very large room overlooking the canopies of the trees of the courtyard, and we were amazed that despite being 400 meters to the Palace of the Popes, we heard absolutely no noise! Our bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was huge, especially for European standards. Jacques arranged dinner reservations for us at wonderful restaurants, and the meals were also highlights of our trip. My only recommendation would be to contact them earlier, as some of the restaurants were already fully booked. Our hosts were impeccable and our experience was a favorite during our trip to France. Le Clos Saluces is a true hidden gem. The exterior is unassuming but the rooms, gardens and buffet breakfast are magnificent. The hosts are knowledgeable of the area (sights, paths, restaurants, services) and are very willing to engage to ensure your experience is outstanding! You absolutely will love your stay here ❤️
