We stayed one night at Miraval but experienced 2 days. First off the food was delicious! We enjoyed every meal. Our room was wonderful on the 2nd floor. Odd thing was our shower did not get very hot. It was luke warm even after turning to the 115 degrees max. We were there when they were testing the fire alarm which they mentioned but there were 2 days of testing not just one. And the alarm rang for a while. We ended up walking everywhere because we just didn't see carts out. When we arrived our welcome tour was with another lady because there was only one person driving the carts. (The gal driving us said she was the only one for the day.) My ginger spa treatment was fabulous! My husband's deep tissue massage was just ok. He said his therapist said the less seasoned staff get the straightforward easy massages like his deep tissue. We enjoyed the Kintsuga, Cardio drumming and beekeeper talk. All in all I'm not sure it was worth the cost. But it was a good respite and break.

This was the most amazing experience! Miraval has thought of everything. They handle all the details and made our girls get away weekend a core memory. The activities like the sound bath, gong ceremony, and ring of light allowed us to explore things in our personal lives we should and could let go of, while the spa treatments, relaxing salt water pools, and peaceful grounds allowed us to relax and renew. The aqua barre and archery were great ways to try new activities and the farm to table meals were delectable! Karen and Julie- along with every colleague there, anticipated and accommodated our every need - and then some! Every person had a smile and willingness to ensure our visit was remarkable and memorable. We are already looking at dates for our next visit. I cannot recommend this resort highly enough! It was the awakening and revitalization we all needed!

The customer service was out of this world! Everyone was attentive and made it their mission to make sure we had a wonderful experience. They were kind and calm and the perfect example of hospitality. I am already making plans to return next year.

The bedding was so amazing that I'm going to purchase the whole package so I can experience this at home. The rooms with the balcony and vaulted ceilings were amazing. Looking forward to returning very soon. I be this is wonderful around Christmas time.

Disappointing stay! We ended up being glad we only booked for one night. Although they try to make it all inclusive and a relaxing environment it falls short. When we checked in the staff seemed preoccupied and not very friendly, however Bella at the pool was amazing and gave us a lot of information about the resort. The quality of food is marginal although they try to make seasonal items. Due to scheduling we were only able to do two classes and one spa treatment and those were good. Wish we could have tried another spa treatment because our grounding massage was lot the best but the spa itself is beautiful and peaceful. I think a day spa pass would be great. They do say no cell phones but we noticed most people had them but no talking on them.

It is too expensive for what it is. Classes options are very Limited and most of them, not very good or hard enough. Most of the food is delicious but not really healthy, and there are fewcsnack options and little variety. The Spa is nice, and very good, but expensive, and the pool is great

This is my #1 choice for wellness retreat. I have visited twice on a solo vacation. The spa is phenomenal. I love how the services combine massage with energy work. The food is fresh, flavorful, well done. There are plenty of activities that will suit anyone’s needs and the experience planners are great at helping you create an itinerary that is perfect for you.

One of the most relaxing and rejuvenating experiences I've ever had. Not my first spa weekend but definitely the one that I will remember as the best. Services, classes, facilities, food all top notch. Am usually not one for the more touchy-feely activities but these instructors were so good I loved everything I tried. Would go back tomorrow if I could.

Good: Activities, particularly Ryan in beverage classes and all the guides on the ropes/climbing/etc. Grounds are well kept and quiet, airport transfers very smooth and timely. Ok: Food was very hit and miss. We were served a raw burger at one point while other dishes were solid. Portions are small but generally tasty. Experience reps and admin staff were flakey but ultimately came through. Bad: Room could have been a motel 6 other than the bedding. Window air conditioners with bright lights you cant turn off. Thin walls. Service at the restaurant was brutal. No coffee in the morning, drinks often wouldn't come at all. Had a drink spilled on me by server and had to get stuff to clean it up myself. Cell phone policy is completely unenforced. The idea behind Mirval is good, but the execution is horrible. We spoke to some others who had been coming for several years and they mentioned every year it gets worse. I'd try the Arizona property but wouldn't go back to Austin.
