The Line Austin

What a terrible experience all around. First, I booked a "lake side" view and got a view of the next building. Second, I was charged $28 a day plus tax for "Amenities". When I called to ask what those where some ignorant chick said "It's like paddle boarding, scooters, you know, every guest gets charged for it", and then she hung up on me. I didn't use the mini fridge, and they didn't even have basic muffins or juice for breakfast so the amenities are BS. The decor is marketing as some hip, eclectic "vide" but its just and old building. The elevator smelled disgusting, and the carpet was so worn out I don't think they've ever changed it.

The room's AC was inconsistent, difficult to find the right temperature. The room we had was right behind the elevators so it was hard to sleep hearing them going nonstop til 3am. The bathroom was also extremely dark and hard to even see yourself in the mirror.

Everything is good except it doesn’t offer free water

實際付款費用遠高於網上顯示的價格，感覺被欺騙。

The staff was very kind and attentive. I even received a text during my stay asking how I was doing and if I needed anything. The hotel is very clean, and quiet. The shower had very hot water with excellent water pressure. The minibar had a very nice variety of drinks and snacks. The hotel also had many nice restaurants inside and nearby. It is also close to many downtown activities. Perfect stay.

The beds are very low to the ground. There is no door or curtain on the shower which is normally fine but the stationary glass does not prevent the water from spraying around the bathroom. So I checked out the first morning of a three day stay. The hotel said they could not credit me because i booked through *******. ******* couldn’t help because i had stayed one night. The hotel made the business decision to accept bookings from the third party. I think it is poor business to push the client back and forth. It hurts both businesses. No more booking through ******* and I know to “check the vibe” before booking as i was told by the hotel staff

The location is great if you are interested in the downtown area we walked to the Capital, the mothership comedy club and down the main strips, We saw the Congress bats and the Fourth of July celebration was easily seen from the grounds beneath the bridge which was magical! We didn’t get to go to the bar upstairs it was closed for a private event, parking was not included, the pool was small so crowded but it was cute and had a bar. One elevator was broken the whole weekend and the a/c took awhile to cool down the room. Staff was very friendly and helpful, overall I was happy with our stay but will budget a little differently next trip!

Everything was good and we enjoy there and our room was in 10 th floor and riverside that had gorgeous view .

Great location close to downtown and Soco. Plenty of great options to eat inside the hotel and in the area. Nice pool and amenities. Great staff. Stay there with my husband for four nights, we had a great time.
