Single beds for Twin room are too small, will be better if it’s super single beds. Breakfast is perfect! Wide range of varieties and good quality! Will definitely stay here again when we are back in Auckland.

Great hotel, looks amazing, rooms are big,clean, friendly staff, amazing food especially breakfast. Comfy beds, swimming pool, spa and sauna excellent addition. We will go back again.

Check in took a bit longer than a 5 stars hotel should be. I arrived at 1pm after an overnight flight and need a rest. Room wasn’t ready so okay I can wait. Until 3pm it was still not ready… only get into the room around 4pm at last. First impression ruined.

I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. From the front desk staff to the manager and finance department, they are all scammers! They claim to charge a pre-authorization fee to your credit card, but in reality, it is processed as an actual transaction. After multiple verifications with two of my banks, it was confirmed as a direct charge, not a pre-authorization. The hotel staff are highly unprofessional—they link unauthorized charges to your credit card without secondary confirmation or any notification! The hotel admitted this was a manual operation by their staff. While the charge was eventually refunded, the fact remains terrifying: your card, which was only authorized for a pre-authorization, can be arbitrarily used by the hotel to deduct any fees without your consent! Despite patient communication with the hotel and providing extensive bank documentation to expedite the return of my deposit, they still refused to acknowledge their wrongdoing. If the hotel responds to this review claiming they "processed the cancellation," it will further expose their deceit. My bank confirmed that if they had genuinely canceled the pre-authorization, the bank would have received immediate notification (even if it takes days to reflect in personal accounts). However, my bank's backend data shows no cancellation attempt has been made by the hotel to date. Beyond financial issues, another reason to avoid this scam operation: When I felt cold at night and called the front desk to inquire about heating functions (which they claimed existed), an employee was sent but failed to operate the system. After struggling, he bluntly admitted, "I don't know how." When I asked for solutions, he consulted the front desk and later returned with a contradictory explanation: "The hotel AC has no heating function!" This is the "service" of a five-star hotel! I'm willing to provide any necessary proof to help others avoid this terrible establishment. As a hotel under the Langham Hospitality Group, I will continue escalating this matter. The reputation of New Zealand's Cordis Hotel is being destroyed by these fraudulent practices! 建议大家不要再入住这家酒店,从前台,到经理还有财务都是骗子!他们借口用你的信用卡刷一笔预授权费用,但实际上,确实一笔消费。我和我的两家银行多次核实,就是消费,不是预授。且酒店人员非常不专业,他们会把不属于你的费用连接到你的信用卡上直接扣费,而不需要你二次确认,且毫无通知!酒店也承认是他们人为操作,虽然这笔费用退款了,但是想想就觉得很可怕不是吗?你的卡,明明只授权了预授费用,酒店却可以肆意是用你的卡进行任何费用的扣除,且不需要你的二次确认!在多次和酒店耐心沟通,提供诸多银行证明,希望他们赶紧归还押金后,他们仍然不承认。如果这条评价的底下,酒店人员回复说,他们已经操作,那就更加证明他们是骗子!因为我已经和银行询问,如果酒店真的操作了取消预授,银行会立即收到相关通知,哪怕这需要几天的时间才能在个人账户看见。但是我的银行帮我查询了后台数据,迄今为止,酒店没有操作取消。此外,除了费用,为何还觉得这家酒店都是骗子的原因是,夜晚我觉得比较冷,但是我不太会操作空调,便电话询问前台是否有制热空调功能,对方回复说有,等了很久,派了一个员工来帮忙,但是这位员工操作了半天也不会,然后就对我说,我也不会。但是当晚房间的温度对我来说,确实太冷了,我问他那怎么办,他就跑去问前台,过了一会回来用另外一个答案告诉我,酒店空调没有制热功能!这就是一个五星级酒店的待遇!如果大家需要我提供任何证明,我都愿意效劳,希望帮助更多人避开这个差劲的商家!作为朗庭集团的名下酒店,我也会继续向上反馈!新西兰的cordis酒店名声被这些人给弄坏了!

This was by far our best hotel experience! Everything was carefully planned and designed and had a warmth feeling throughout! Would definitely recommend it without hesitation!

Overall, it was an average experience. The facilities were quite old, and when I took a shower, there was no hot water. We had to call the receptionist, who sent an engineer to fix it, but in the end, we could only get hot water by adjusting the handle to a very specific angle— and it was extremely hot. This whole experience was quite uncomfortable and exhausting.

This hotel was a beautifully decorated with art throughout. All employees were friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and comfortable beds, nice sheets! It is located 800 meters from the Auckland City Hospital.

Had an amazing night with my husband. Loved exploring all the restaurants on k road. We also got upgraded to the pinicle tower which I highly recommend staying in. Due to school holidays the pool and spa was packed. But was still a nice experience.

Great room - really well thought out. Staff were all lovely even though the hotel was full. Room could have been a little cleaner but I do have high standards. Breakfast catered for gluten free which was great.
