Hotel dekat Masuo Ikeda and Yoko Sato's house of creation, Atami

The hotel is a Ibis/ Holiday Inn Express version of the Prince Hotel. It is no frills basic hotel with a great location. The breakfast is a simple chazuke dish with a drink. Check-in timing is inflexible but you can leave your luggage and explore the area a bit, not sure if Prince Hotel loyalty members get any special treatment. The room is basic and have everything you need with ensuite bathroom. The location is just a short walk from Atami Station and the Toyota Rental Car office. There is a car park but there are some restrictions over the timing etc.

The room was nice and big, the breakfast was good, there was a shuttle bus, but! It was not cleaned on the second day, and it didn't need to be cleaned. At least the toothbrush and towels should be changed, but it was good overall

The hotel is close to Atami Station and the shopping street, just a 5-minute walk away, and the location is very convenient. Stayed in a Japanese-style room with two meals for one night. The kaiseki dinner was very exquisite and the breakfast was also very good. The staff was friendly, the room was comfortable and clean, we were very satisfied with this stay!

The bathroom is surprisingly clean. The location is good and not far from JR, but there is a slope. There is only one bathroom. The boys' bathing time is too short. They will not have enough time to take a bath after returning from the fireworks festival. Basic toiletries, disinfectants, etc. are all provided. Anyway, there are many charged items, so it’s best to bring your own. Breakfast is a bowl of Ochazuke rice with an egg. The self-service option includes dishwashing. If you don’t have any requirements for breakfast, you can consider it.

I went there for the first time in February. Because the hotel was better than expected, I immediately asked my friends to change their schedule and stay again. I was reluctant to leave the clean, spacious and comfortable room with beautiful views. So I bought food and ate in the room, just to enjoy this beauty for a little more, even if it's just one more second! Highly recommended! Very close to Atami Station. When you want to soak, just call the front desk and ask if it is available. There are two kinds of open-air and bubbles. I run in the open-air, but I can’t see anything clearly because of my myopia. people can try. 3. The hotel room is similar to a single room in Japan. You can cook by yourself, and the space is more spacious than those business hotels in Tokyo and Osaka. I think it is worth the money with the hot spring at this price. shortcoming: 1. Japanese-style hotel, but you need to spread the quilt by yourself, and you need to clean up the sorted garbage by yourself (throw it at the door). That means the staff will not enter the room. 2. It is true that the equipment is a bit old, and you can see that the light switches are very old. 3. The price has changed a lot. When I ordered it before, it was 8-9 hundred, but on the day I arrived at the store, it was only 4-5 hundred. . . But maybe because of the typhoon two days ago, many people canceled their trip to watch the fireworks? be careful: 1. The door lock is to use the key to screw the safety pin to the right, so you need to use the key to turn the pin to the left and then turn the handle to open the door. 2. On the whole, it is not far from the station, but the road is similar to the uphill and downhill of a mountain city. It is still a bit tiring to climb up and bring luggage.

The room was great, big, neat and tidy; and the view was nice! Breakfast was slightly disappointing as they didn’t refill some of the food (probably the more costy ones).

Hotel has shuttle bus from the JR station. But is OK just to walk over as there are some small shops worth a look. Breakfast and dinner are good. With lot of Japanese traditional dishes. Hot spa and laundry is an add on plus with this reasonable price of the hotel. This is the hotel I stay every time when in Atami.

Hotels services is good. The room is pretty big and tidy, feeling comfortable in it. Walk for 2-3mins to 7-11 or Lawson. Public onsen provides inside and outside experience. The only disappointed is there is a Group of HK people arrived, there is a man full of tatoo get in public onsen. I checked the rules at front door. It mentioned Tatoo is prohibited. This kind of stupid HK people is a shame for HK when they travel around in Japan. Dont understand the culture of Japan. No parking area for loading, Car parking needs to use next hotel, a bit inconvenience if you carrying few luggages. 🧳

Lobby in old Japan style without too much facilities, however that’s great onsen on rooftop with a beautiful view, nice and clean room.
