Ulasan Stratford Inn

This was our second stay at The Stratford, both were a week long. We would definitely stay again. Here is a breakdown of our thoughts on the various aspects of The Stratford: Check-in: Super easy with incredibly friendly staff. It’s old-school with actual metal keys, so make sure you keep track of them!! Parking: There is plenty of parking in the lot, as well as some spots under the building which are great in the rainy weather. You can also drive up under the canopy to pick up/drop off guests very conveniently. There is a seating area right inside the doors where folks can wait for rides or just relax. Room: We stayed in Room 109 which is a king suite with a jetted tub (we didn’t use), and the bedroom is separate from the rest of the room which is great when one person is an early riser and the other is not. The bedroom is very quiet, and when the shades are pulled and door closed, is incredibly quiet. There was ample storage in the bedroom with a dresser, desk, armoire and closet. The furniture throughout the room is relatively outdated, but very functional. This room also contains a Murphy bed and pull-out couch for extra sleeping spaces. We only used the king bed in the main bedroom, which had plenty of pillows to choose from. The bed was relatively comfortable. The bathroom was spacious with plenty of plush, fluffy towels. There were noticeable rust stains in the sink and tub, but overall everything was very clean. This room also had a full kitchen with a 2-burner cooktop, refrigerator/freezer, microwave and sink. We cooked breakfast a couple of mornings in the room, and it was nice to have drinks/snacks available in the room. There is a television in the living area, as well as the bedroom. Room 109 adjoins with Room 107, and there isn’t a lot of soundproofing between the rooms. One night, the guests in 107 were very loud and you could hear every word they said (including lots of profanity). One of our last nights, the guests had dogs that barked off and on while we were watching TV in the living room. One of the downsides of this room was that it was located on the main level which is somewhat underground. The room was dark, even with the curtains opened if it wasn’t sunny outside. Breakfast: The complimentary breakfast is very nice, and I think it’s my favorite breakfast area I’ve been in. There are panoramic views of the mountains, and your a look down into the pool area. The oatmeal is wonderful with plenty of options for toppings. The yogurt is also good. They provide an assortment of pastries as well. I ate breakfast there 2 or 3 times during the week. The breakfast personnel are wonderful, helpful and were happy to talk about the great things to do in the area. Location: The Stratford is located close to most of the downtown shops and is immediately across the street from the Safeway grocery store, which makes wonderful breakfast burritos!!! It’s easy to get to almost anywhere from the hotel. I
