Hôtel le Sénéchal

This was our second year and this little gem did not disappoint. Super friendly staff, wonderful attention to detail everywhere and perfect location. We stayed in Room 20 this time which was nice but a little tight in spaces so not ideal. Otherwise a perfect break.

What a gorgeous hotel. Everything is utterly beautiful and charming. Decor is stylish and considered, outdoor areas stunning with amazing flowers, staff exceedingly helpful and friending. In a perfect locations in stunning Ars-en-Re. surrounded by lots of great restaurants and cafes , together with a superb daily market. This was our second visit and we will be returning. An oasis to be enjoyed .

Lovely hotel. It’s a shabby chic boutique hotel carved from a number of buildings with each room unique which makes it very interesting. I’d take this over a 500 bed 5 star any day. The location is perfect beside the main square and the staff were really helpful, especially Tomas. We rented electric bikes for the 4 days from the bike shop down the street - the only way to see the island. The only blot on its copybook was breakfast which was underwhelming and overpriced. The cafe in the square was superior. I’ll be back.

What a wonderful stay and to be greeted by such a smiley Alex, thank you. We arrived earlier than check in time and a vacant upgraded room was found. Room 45 which was completely blissful. Best thing ever was a small working fireplace that we used with logs supplied and our own kindling we gathered whilst cycling. We felt blessed. The bed was very comfortable. Shabby chic interior. Lovely bath tub with beautiful soaps. Such a pretty location in the square of Ars en Re.

Un très bel établissement en plein cœur d’Ars en Re: hôtel de charme avec sa cheminée où il est agréable de se poser pour bouquiner. Un petit déjeuner délicieux et copieux, avec uniquement des produits frais et de qualité. Bémol pour la chambre, qui dénote un peu (peinture cloquée à plusieurs endroits, plutôt sombre)

Ars-en-Ré mérite sa réputation d'être l'un plus beaux villages de France.. Idéalement situé sur l'Île de Ré, il offre tout ce que les amoureux de la nature apprécient, et plus particulièrement son authenticité protégée et respectée. Les Arsais sont accueillants. C'est un réel plaisir de découvrir cette communes et ses environs à pied ou à vélo grâce aux très nombreuses pistes cyclables parfaitement balisées. En plein cœur d'Ars-en-Ré, l'hôtel Le Sénéchal est un havre de paix exceptionnel et très confortable. La Villa Victoire de cet Établissement est un endroit magique et très calme. Son exposition plein sud est très appréciable, comme son splendide jardin et sa très belle piscine chauffée. Les chambres décorées avec soin sont très douillettes. Les salons, les deux salles à manger, intérieure et extérieure, la grande cuisine sont des lieux de convivialité très appréciables. Les services hôteliers de grande qualité sont irréprochables. La Direction et l'ensemble du Personnel de l'Hôtel Le Sénéchal sont particulièrement chaleureux, bienveillants et très professionnels. L'Hôtel Le Sénéchal d'Ars-en-Ré est à vivement recommander pour passer un séjour inoubliable.
