Ulasan Arrochar Hotel 'a Bespoke Hotel'

The property will not suit some categories of travellers as the building is old and could do with some tlc. However, the food was good and plentiful although i would have liked to have seen Lorne sausage and fried eggs on the menu but i am sure had i asked for a fried egg one would have been cooked for me. Entertainment on Saturday night was quite good. Rooms could do with a bit if modernisation but otherwise it was fine. I am sure a lot if the hotel's bookings come from escorted coach tours. The view from the front of the hotel is amazing. If it were any closer to Loch Long you would get wet from the waves.

Good water pressure. Excellent breakfast. Good price.

Stayed here 5 years ago but sorry to say it has deteriorated. Shower was cold. Too many steps to reception for older guests to negotiate. Staff very friendly and eager to sort out any problems.

Hotel clean service good food good

Avoid this hotel at all costs, they lie blatantly, refuse that any problems exist and just want you to leave when you complain, bed like rock, tv and Wi-Fi useless but the management are the worst part. Keep an eye on Facebook for pictures.

Friendly helpful staff, good food and great views of surrounding area

Great location on the banks of Loch Long. Hotel is a little dated and bedrooms could be updated. Staff need to tell guests when breakfast is about to finish as some new arrivals paid for their breakfast but didn’t get any hot food as it was taken off the servery a couple of minutes (and bang on the dot) just after they sat down. Staff could also be a little more flexible on seating people in the dining room. Entertainment was good and bar prices very reasonable.

It’s fair to say this hotel has seen better days and some elements are really in need of upgrade-eg bathroom. Room 211 is very tight altho I suspect other doubles are slightly larger. There was some noise and disturbance from our next door neighbour which was frustrating and a lot of guests with dogs so doggy noise too! On the other hand food in the bar was fine (not many other choices around) and staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel is very run down and in need of modernisation. The rooms are dated very small. The food choice is limited and of average standard.

This hotel was dated. The bathroom tiles had mold. The emergency door in our hall would not close so was wide open all day. This made the room very cold and the small heating system was hard to figure out. The food in the restaurant was too spicy. Even my salad burned my mouth.

Great location for hill walks and beautiful views. Hospitality staff could do with more customer service training
