Lagoon Breeze Villas

Lagoon Breeze Villas was a great place to stay. We had an older style 2 level, 2 bedroom villa that was clean, tidy and well equipped. It was nice to have a decent size deck with table and chairs and lounger chairs on the grass for relaxing. There are also bbqs available around the complex. The staff were super friendly and helpful including when we lost 1 sneaker and they pointed out a hedge where one of the dogs took things they "found". The pool was great and in a lovely setting with plenty of loungers. Breakfast was simple but all you need - fresh and canned fruit, yoghurt, a choice of 3 or 4 cereals, toast and spreads, coffee and tea and juice. And with gluten free options available. The breakfast area became a bar from 4.30-6.30 every day except Sunday and you could get a selection of beer, wine and cocktails for reasonable prices. You could either drink there or take your drink back to your room. The location of Lagoon Breeze Villas is awesome. There was direct access across the road for snorkeling or kayaking. It was a 10 minute walk along the beach to The Rarotongan resort, there was a cheap and cheerful restaurant/takeaway (Kaena Restaurant, Takeaway & Bar) just a 5 minute walk away and it was just a 5 minute drive to Wigmore's Superstore for any supplies we needed. And of course sunset views.

Great location just over the road from nice snorkelling/reef area. Snorkels and flippers provided free. Receptionist very friendly and helpful as were the other staff. Good variety breakfast and happy hour in the arvo. Cabins very clean with air conditioning and all kitchen appliances. Great spot for very relaxing vacation- pool very clean too!

We went with a huge group 30+ and they housed us all well. Lovely staff. Free internet, basic place but was wonderful for the price. Loved the big decks on each of our little bures. We found eating at our room nice as the breakfast was very basic. Nice pool, lots of staff always tidying the gardens etc. we used one of their lovely housekeepers as a babysitter one night, easily arranged through lovely Naomi at the office.
