AluaSoul Zakynthos - Adults Only - All Inclusive

When we arrived we were welcomed by friendly reception staff who checked us in and showed us to our room. The room was cleaned daily and we had a seaview. The worse thing about the room was the tiny bathroom. When you open the bathroom door it hit the toilet . The shower is over a very narrow bath with a glass screen on one side. It was really hard to turn round in it or to get out as the room was so small. We had a couples massage which was great. The food was always hot but a little repetitive. On our first night in the restaurant it was really busy and we sat down in an area which was reserved for My Favourite Club diners without realising it, until a waiter told us not to do it again !The signage for this area is not clear and throughout our 10 day holiday we saw numerous guests do the same thing and even a waiter picking up some guests plates and moving them to an alternative table. There is also an area in reception which only My Favourite guests can sit in, again not clearly advertised and to be honest totally unnecessary. There are 3 cabanas day beds by the pool which you have to pay to use, where you can get fruit and wine served to you....a bit strange if you are all inclusive. There is also a member staff walking around the pool selling these beds which is a bit annoying. We saw guests use them and if they hadn't paid were moved. There is a bar by the pool that has a very limited snack menu which isn't all included. For example you can get a ciabetta but if you wanted chips with it you had to pay ! From 11pm to midnight you have to pay for drinks and from midnight everything is in darkness. We did eat in the a la carte restaurant which was a huge disappointment. We had a 8pm reservation and arrived 10 minutes before to be told we couldn't eat till 8pm. We weren't eapecting too ! There were loads of free tables. We had to ask if we could sit at one of the free tables and wait. It was very difficult to get the waiters attention throughout the evening or get a drink,in fact he was quite rude. The meal was very average and we would have been better off eating in the main restaurant. It definitely wasn't a la carte!!

What an amazing hotel. I went on a girls trip with my mother and we had a great time. We had a my family club room so had access to the two infinity pools as well as an ocean front room. The room had a large bed and then a separate room with two single sofa beds, which led out onto the spacious balcony. The staff were all super friendly and the food was great during all meal services. Yes there was a bit of a wait in the morning by the coffee machines but I think that’s the only downside to it. The main hotel was really well designed and modern. The bars were great and served drinks in glasses, not plastic cups, which makes all the difference. There was also always plenty of sunbeds available. Overall, a really lovely hotel and I can’t wait to visit again.

We stayed at a wonderful hotel by the beach and had the pleasure of joining Alessia and Deborah for daily morning stretch and sunset yoga sessions throughout the week. Their classes were the perfect addition to our stay—energizing us in the mornings and helping us fully unwind in the evenings. The peaceful beachside setting made each session even more special. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and deeply recharged. Highly recommend both the hotel and the yoga experience for anyone looking for a truly restorative getaway.

I am fairly sure that many people who stay here have a lovely holiday break and enjoy their stay. We did enjoy our break, but we felt short changed, and would have appreciated more in-depth trip advisor narrative at the time of booking. Spanish owned Alua Soul is a hotel brand which promises a lot more, but our experience showed that it actually delivers far less, unfortunately, at a premium price. We stayed in July 2025 for 2 weeks, booking via TUI (UK) for an all-inclusive package, in one of the Beachfront suites, part of the My Favourite Club package. (Black Band) First thing to know is that the Greek Climate Tax is 10 Euros per day, per room, payable at check in. We didn't choose a poolside room, categorised by TUI as a swim up room, costing quite a lot of extra money, although the only extra benefit is a bali bed, which is costing you an added £450 per week. (Based on the pricing at the time of our booking) My Favourite Club includes 2 infinity pools, which are for the use of all guests in this category of room. There is no private swim up. , The hotel has 165 rooms, it is for age 16 plus and attracts guests from the wider European area. The hotel offers the standard Blue Band package, and the Black Band package at extra cost. The hotel is All-Inclusive for everyone. There are 3 swimming pools, the main pool is in the upper part of the hotel complex, it gets quite crowded, you have to be up early to get sunbeds, it seems. 2 infinity pools are for the use of black band guests and are situated in the lower area of the hotel overlooking the sea. Blue Band guests can buy a day pass to My Favourite Club, subject to availability at a rate of 55 Euros. This hotel IS NOT A GOOD CHOICE for anyone with mobility issues. There are 45 steps to climb from My Favourite Club to the main restaurant. There are only 2 disabled toilets and they are not very well equipped. There are 3 bars, one is exclusively for the use of My Favourite Club guests but it only serves drinks and no snacks. There are crisps and peanuts, at added cost. Drinks are non-branded but premium brands can be had, at added cost. Non Alcohol beer is also at added cost. Warning: There are no toilets in this area of the hotel. The main restaurant is buffet only. There is outside seating (No smoking or Vaping) and strangely the reserved seating area for My Favourite Club guests is right beside the designated smoking area for guests. So, we didn't use that facility! There is an A La Carte Restaurant, open 6 days a week. Reservations are necessary, and there are 2 weekly menus. The guest comments on the quality of the food were negative in the main. We didn't bother. My Favourite Club guests can use the A La Carte every day, but I suspect most didn't attempt that. There is a lunchtime snack bar serving limited salads, light bites etc. but a burger will be added cost! There is a very small My Favourite Club lounge area near reception where supposedly you can get tea and coffee, but w
