Stayed at Sandy Maria for the first time and all I can say is it was fantastic!!!! I’ve booked to go again end of august, it’s clean, absolute value for money and Yani Sandy & Trudi are sooo friendly, I travelled alone and they made me feel so welcome, it’s situated literally 10 min walk from town & beach. My new favourite place xxx

Get what you pay for here, clean and tidy enough but fairly basic, but then I prefer that, saves money for eating out etc. Its tucked out of the way which I again prefer but some wont as its a good swift 10 mins walk into town and to the beach so might not suit all. The main problem for us was the layout....the sun rises behind the buildings and so most of the morning you're in the shade if you're wanting to lounge by the pool......after our first day of realising this we never stayed by their pool again and went to the beach etc so clearly they're missing out on business there. Average overall but still had a fab holiday as the place was fine and Tsilivi was lovely.

I was covered in bites and was on top floor,whole 2 days sick.Chef moaning every day.Bar staff only good person until he split up with his wife ,all over Facebook then arguing a lot and shouting so not again for me thanks

A very unpretentious hotel, scrupulously clean, large pool with plenty of sun loungers. Staff were very friendly, cheerful and helpful. The beach which is about a 15 minute walk is absolutely gorgeous, sandy and warm. Plenty of restaurants to choose from with many options, but the hotel also offers food, the Greek omelette is an excellent breakfast choice. The beds were comfortable, albeit single ones, the room itself basic but large with a good sized balcony. Plenty of hot water but do keep in mind that very few Greek hotels use shower curtains but the floor quickly dries. I can genuinely recommend this hotel.

Will definitely return. Thank you giannis and sandy for a lovely holiday. Rooms are comfortable, nice pool. Beer and wine is good. Nice bar snacks. And happy hour beans on toast! What more can I say.

The hotel is in a quiet location easily walkable to the beach & the bars/restaurants in Tsilivi town. The rooms are simple - basic but clean. Self catering facilities are minimal, but perfectly adequate - fridge, kettle and a one ring cooking hob. The food served in the hotel is of good quality and delicious. I would recommend participating in the weekly Greek night - great food & entertainment! The staff are friendly, and it is clear that the owner takes great pride in his hotel - and deservedly so.

What can I say third time here now and keeps giving . Owners and staff are out of this world , nothing to much hassle for them .Food here of good quality, drinks a fab price . Pool area , infact the whole hotel very clean . It situated in perfect place around 5 mins from main part of Tsvilli .I have been to many 3/4/5 star hotels in the past , yes posh but feel false and to commercial , Sandy Marie you feel so relaxed and at home.Yes rooms a bit tired but clean and end of day beds comfy hot shower ect and room is for sleeping ect only .All balconies face pool .If you looking for a swanky posh all inclusive hotel then don't bother visiting this hotel, we would take this hotel over any posh all inclusive hotel. We will be coming to this hotel for many years to come.keep up the good work Sandy Marie Hotel look forward to seeing in july 24 for our fourth visit

Some of the rooms are basic, but this is a lovely hotel. It's not five star, but all you need is a shower and place to sleep. You are there for the sun after all, not to sit in the room. Some people are way too fussy. Yiannis is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet and he couldn't be more helpful. Lovely family with a young son. The hotel is on the edge of the resort, just a short walk to the central area. Tsilivi is a lovely and very friendly resort. Not too quiet and not too rowdy. My son was involved in a bad accident on holiday with friends in Laganas and was in hospital and I flew out to be with him. We stayed here for a few weeks after he was finally released from hospital and I can't thank all at the Sandy Maria enough. Tsilivi really is a lovely resort. I have been to many holiday resorts in Ibiza, Menorca, Majorca, Malta, Rhodes, Crete and Zante, all good, but Tsilivi was the friendliest place by far.

Just come back from 2 great weeks at Sandy Maria we have been coming to Tsilivi for many years but never stopped here but when we come to book this year Jet2 had got there corporate clutches on our usual place and put the price up £400 on last year. The Sandy Maria is on the fringe of the resort set in countryside but in truth only 15 min to the beach and bars just behind the petrol station. There is a large fruit shop and supermarket 10 mins away and a bus stop to Zante town. The hotel consists of 2 blocks on 4 floors all rooms face the pool and have countryside views towards the sea. There is a nice reception with comfy sofas and a large bar area where meals and snacks are served all day, if like us you like to come back for the "last drink" Yanni the owner is on hand till as late as you want always pleased to see you with a smile he knows all his guests by name and nothing is to much trouble. They have a great Greek night every Friday with BBQ and dancing. The pool is large with a smaller one for kids and there is plenty of sunbeds so no need to get up at 3.30 am. Yanni and his wife made us very welcome and we will be back, I don't think Yanni sleeps because after keeping him up late he is always there at breakfast smiling and attending to his guests.
