Contessa Hotel

I have done a review before, however it deserves another! This is a brilliant hotel. Every year we return, and every year, it just gets better! This year, the hotel has upgraded the pool area, adding more sunbeds and table and chairs. During the day you have a lovely pool with new and very comfortable sunbeds and umbrellas (without extra charge). The pool bar offers great food all day until late at night. At night you can sit and have drinks and / or cocktails. There is a great ambience all throughout the day and night. All staff are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel rooms are clean, spacious, comfortable and modern. Rooms are cleaned each day with towels being changed every 2 days. If any problems or queries reception staff are always approachable and very friendly. Should you wish to rent a car, need advice where to go for the day or dinner reservations reception staff will only be too happy to help you. Hotel and staff go above and beyond to make sure you make good memories that will last a lifetime. See you next year!

Lovely relaxing holiday. 5 star star staff .Phaedra (i wanted to take her home with me ) 😀Ellie,Lydia,Chis. Lovely room with balcony,spotlessly clean ,couldn't fault it. Lovely pool,plenty of very comfortable sun beds. Food and drink pool side excellent.Great Pizzas,burgers and fries made to order (large portions !!) Only reason reason we couldn't give a 5 score was Breakfast wasn't great.Only fresh fruit was Apples,other fruit was tinned in syrup,eggs and 'bacon ' was under a lamp but always cold. Choice of Bread,Coffee and Jams was very good though. We would go back but maybe go out for Breakfast.

Spent 3 days on solo trip in this beautiful hotel and can totally recommend! They made me feel welcome and safe as a lone female and my room, 321, was spotlessly clean, modern and contemporary with a distant sea view. Breakfast served until 10am from restaurant with stunning views out to sea, served a good variety of hot and cold food. Pool area was delightful and the sunbeds the most comfortable ever! The staff could not do enough for the guests and were friendly and attentive. Food at pool restaurant was avoidable and tasty. Nothing to fault!

We recently returned from a lovely week at the Contessa Hotel. The hotel was immaculately clean, beds were comfortable and the pool area is gorgeous. There are plenty of comfortable sun beds and parasols available and there is also lots of shade if you wish. The pool bar and seating area for food is lovely and food is good and reasonably priced. In terms of the location of the hotel, it's in a perfect spot with lots of bars, restaurants and shops nearby. There's also a mini golf just next to the hotel which we were pleasantly surprised to find as it wasn't mentioned in any of the hotel information. The only negatives about the hotel was that we were asked to pay 10 euro a night for air conditioning in our room - apparently it's included with some packages but we had booked through on the beach and it wasn't included. Also there's not really a beach within walking distance. The sea and shoreline is within walking distance, but beach is very narrow indeed. We were a bit disappointed that the roof top restaurant was only open for breakfast, but there were plenty of restaurants nearby. Overall we had a fabulous holiday and would definitely go back.

The hotel Contessa is amazing, I have stayed at many many hotels across Argassi and I would have to be honest and say this hotel was probably my favourite of them all. Firstly, the rooms: they are spacious, clean, modern and feel quite premium in comparison to the usual basic hotel rooms you get across Greece. The pool: Lovely pool/bar area, the pool is clean, loads of sunbeds and will always be a few spare (despite the pool being very very busy every day), the bar provides really good food for a very reasonable price (best hotel food we'd eaten in Argassi). The breakfast: The breakfast is included and there is a wide variety of foods to choose from and we were here for 2 weeks and did not get bored! The catering staff are constantly topping up finished food/drinks so you will never get hungry. The location: The hotel is situated up a small hill directly in the centre of Argassi and therefore in a great location, perfect for visiting either end of the strip. Lastly, the staff: Amazing, every single member of staff is pleasant, polite and will ensure you have a great time. The pool bar staff deserve a special mention as each one of them are brilliant! Truly, unless I am completely nit picking and looking for issues, there is 0 with this hotel. Would 100% stay here again, and we thank the staff for making it a very pleasant holiday. P.S- If you are staying here, please avoid Tiffany's restaurant as it is very close by, terrible restaurant and you are better of going absolutely anywhere else for dinner!

I booked a room with balcony and garden view, We Arrived yesterday and went downstairs to room which was quite dark due to not a lot of light coming in. We have a balcony but no view apart from a tree. Room is small and very basic, not much storage, clothe hand over dressing table so this can’t be used, no socket near mirror so wife can’t use hair straighteners. On a plus side pool area is very nice. Air con was an extra 140€ and even had to pay 30€ for a fridge. We are here bed and breakfast so basically self catering and no facilities in room. Not even a kettle. TUI website doesn’t tell you any of this so very disappointing and very reluctant to spend money at this hotel. Soap dispenser was also broken on arrival and no attempt to fix it.
