Club Hotel Aguamarina

Great family hotel! Your little cherubs will be entertained from 10am onwards, fantastic animation team with a shout out to Chanchi who my son Lukas adored. Even the animation team get all the adults involved in activities which is amazing. There is so much to do at this hotel it's unreal. I only wish we had booked 10night instead of 7! The rooms are small but realistically- how long do you spend in there considering how much there is to do on site? Food is what it is... there is something for everyone at the end of the day, moaners will moan! Snacks are fantastic so eat them instead 12pm till 10pm haha Staff are all friendly and will go out of your way to help. I like to always give a mention to certain staff who go out of their way to make the holiday more enjoyable. Hence Chanchi and our room attendant in 1040 (sorry I didn't get her name). Also we were here 18months ago and the same bar staff are here which is great to see, all were fantastic 18months ago, and the same this time around. Get booking as you won't be disappointed!!

I don’t like starting a review in this manor. From the previous review, I am British and also was in block A. I didn’t feel like a second class citizen or discriminated against in anyway. In fact totally the opposite. The cost of our holiday wasn’t expensive and to ad on the sea view room and the A/I package cost just over £100. With this you get breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks also through the day including if you want to be Brits burgers, chips, chicken nuggets etc. the A/I drinks are served in sturdy plastic glass’s and if you want anything not on the VERY CHEAP A/I it does come with a cost and is served in real glass’s. We had several cocktails through out our week and Rose wine. I found every member of staff to be helpful and most of them understanding. I speak a good standard of Spanish but not fluent. Not once did I hear “No habla Ingles” or “ No comprendo” in fact they tried to correct my Spanish in a nice way not rude and if we still didn’t understand each other they got an other member of staff who was fluent in English to explain to us both. Ok that’s over with. We have stayed here several time between the year 2001 to 2009 but wanted to come back even tho we have read bad reviews. Block A is more expensive to stay in but gives you the best view as you can sea the whole of the beautiful bay. There was a lot of older Spanish guest in here but they had yellow wrist bands on which I think means B&B and evening meal. So when they had alcohol drinks they had to paid for them so in a real glass. We had green wrist bands for A/I. Pizza Corner is out in the patio area of Bar Bahía which served four types of pizza. Block B has more of the complex view and for a little cost a pool view is extra. The snack bar is located in the Pool Bar Piscina. This wasn’t to our taste but was always busy. The complex was fantastic for family’s but also ok for couples. Five pools including water slides, several activities through out. We used the adult pool only if we wanted to cool off. The snack van is a French looking copy of a real Citroen Van and only serves 3 types of smoothies for A/I which we found disappointing but you could buy cocktails there ant sit and sip looking over the bay. Both of the restaurants in Block A and Block B are a little impersonal IMO as to the seating but I can see why they are set out this way as the Hotel has a lot of rooms. In Block B you can watch English football and in Block A Spanish football. We only ate in Block A restaurant. We always found something to eat. As the area of Arenal d’en Castell restaurant didn’t wake up until Wednesday day we started to eat out as even tho we are A/I, we love trying new foods and places to eat. The A/I package to be fare was at a little cost and drank that twice over ( I’m a sucker for Estrella Dam lol) The bus stop if you don’t hire car is just out side the hotel. From here you can get to Mahon, Son Parc, Fornells for around £5 for two people. We found them very easy to use. We

Amazing family holiday, our 3rd time here, 3rd year, same week. Hotel clean and tidy, even upgraded to a sea view at no charge which was nice surprise, rooms comfortable and clean. Linen even changed mid week, towels everyday. Excellent selection of food each meal. Our son enjoyed the pizza. Staff as always lovely and helpful. Entertainment kept us occupied after food in the evening. Beach again is amazing. Bus to mahon right outside hotel. Can't thank the staff enough, they are amazing. Good luck to Ramon in your retirement. Our 3rd visit and still love the hotel.

went with my wife and two kids aged 5 and 7, was everything we needed and more plenty to do around the complex, food was really good with plenty of variety throughout the week. hygiene was pretty good for the size of the place. would definitely recommend the hotel for others. Our room was fairly small but did not need much space as only spent the night time in there, cleaners cleaned the room and changed bedding towels everyday. entertainment was good plenty going on all the time.

Firstly, this review is totally my own opinion and i have in no way been influenced. We stayed here in may fo4 a family holiday and i have to say, we all loved every minute. Club aquamarina, although by far the best was great value for money! The rooms, although very small were clean and the sheets and towels changed every day. The pool areas were great and the facilities for kids are really good too. A couple of cons: The room we had was directly underneath some sort of generator for the aircon or something i think which was VERY noisy 24 hours a day and for the 1st couple of days i got very little sleep. I did get used to it slightly but still didnt sleep the best. And the food, although ok, was not very hot for the most part, if you got it from the fresh pasta bar or grill it was fine but the stuff left out was barely warm unfortunately. However, there was always options to get us by and also a lit of really nice resteraunts really close by. But overall, for the money we paid (cost more for 3 nights in disneyland) im very happy with our stay. The saying goes, you get what you pay for but in this instance i think we tot slightly more!

We had a fantastic time staying at Club Aguamarina Hotel. We stayed in Block A. The rooms were fairly basic but clean and comfortable. The hotel itself was approximately a 20 minute transfer by bus from the airport. The facilities at the hotel were brilliant for a young family with children. The toddler pool with a double slide was where we spent most of our time during the day, while the afternoon/evenings were spent at the inflatable bouncy castles, ball pit and park. The kid’s club are was good, and the staff excellent. The food onsite for breakfast, lunch and dinner had a good selection for adults. My son can be quite a picky eater, but every day there was fresh fruit available, along with selection of breads, pastries and cereals. Pancakes and omelettes were available fresh also with a variety of toppings. At lunchtime there was usually 2 options of meat/fish. Along with fresh pasta options. Salad bar along with cheeses, meats and fillings for sandwiches and a range of hot options. Dinner was usually similar to lunchtime with fresh meats/fish available at the grill to order. Along with all the favourites. There is a burger bar serving burgers, hot dogs nuggets and chips throughout the day, along with a pizza shack with a number of options. Drinks are included in the All Inclusive, however cocktails are additional. A number of guests would get slushies and just ask for the alcohol to be added which seemed to be included I the AI. There is a supermarket onsite, covering all the basics and a number of souvenirs and home comforts. Overall, I think that the hotel was brilliant, and would highly recommend to any families. Especially those with younger children. We can’t wait to go back next year!
