TRH Tirant Playa

Sólo alojamiento, no puedo opinar más alla de instalaciones y el trato. 10 entodo. El apartamento con sistio y todo lo necesario, aunque muy justo de cubertería. Por lo demás, todo perfecto. Camas cómodas, vista al mar y una bonita piscina, auqnue no la usamos. Volvería, que más podría decir.

We had a stay between the 20th and 25th September (5 nights) with the All Inclusive option. On the 2nd night there was moderate rain with thunder, and a reasonable amount of water appeared inside the apartment (kitchen area) which flooded part of the kitchen and living room (right above the electrical panel). We tried calling reception several times and no one answered, so we had to go to reception in person, in the rain. At reception, they said that they were unable to resolve the problem, they had no free rooms and that we were not the only ones in the same situation. They gave us some towels to contain the flood, ourselves. After our complaint, this matter was never addressed by them again and there were no justification. We were never able to access a pool towel, and on the first day we were told that they could have them the next morning but that there were very few, this is not acceptable for a 4star hotel. The All Inclusive concept in this hotel is more realistic as Full Board + Drink. There is only 1 employee for bar service + table service + cleaning the area itself. The All Inclusive information they gave us on the reception was different from what is displayed in the bar and what is currently practiced. On the last day, a bar employee (the first time we were served by her) tells us that we can order any meal to take away, if we are not staying at the hotel (information that was never given to us at reception, even though we had asked which includes All Inclusive). For us, not a 4 * hotel.

We stayed as a family of 4 & were more than happy with the accommodation. It is very roomy & clean & has everything you should want for a self catering holiday. Yes it is quiet but we weren't put off by that, we went exploring & found plenty to do & see in the evenings. The bus routes to other villages & towns is within walking distance & taxis easy to get hold of. The pool area is well equipped with plenty of loungers & never too busy there. As someone else mentioned it is along a road but please don't let that put you off, it certainly isn't a noisy road and you can't really see it from the pool area unless you are walking about. The views from the pool were fantastic with the sea & hills in the distance. We were self catering so unable to comment on the food & restaurant but the bar is open in the day/evening for drinks and ice creams. Two well equipped supermarkets within walking distance with everything you should need. It is a little pricey but has everything there. Rooms: 5/5 Service: 5/5

Just returned from a weeks stay. The apartment was very clean and a good size. The bedroom beds were very comfy but sadly the sofa bed in the lounge was so uncomfortable. The pool area was lovely and never got over busy so there was always sunbeds whatever time of the day. Views were amazing overlooking the bay and the beach itself was very clean and safe. The resort is very very quiet so if you are looking for a good choice of bars and restaurants then this definitely isn't the resort for you. Taxi to the harbour in Fornells was about 8 euros and I would recommend doing as Fornells is lovely. We also got a taxi to Arenal d'en Castell one night because my daughter wanted her hair braided and this was the closest place which cost 20 euros there and we got the bus back which was straight forward enough. We made an evening of it and had dinner overlooking the beach which was nice. Playa de Fornells has 3 main restaurants and one Pizzeria. All 3 restaurants were ok. Okapi's was the best but the Pizzeria was awful! On the beach you can hire Pedalos and paddleboards which we did and enjoyed!

The most relaxing holiday we have had for such a long time. This quiet resort only has two hotels. The Tirant Playa hotel is comprised of accommodation blocks only two levels high, all apartments with beautiful views across the inlet with the sun shining by day and setting in the evening giving a beautiful glow across the hills. The beach is a joy with a long stretch of shallow water and if you walk around the inlet, you will see turtles basking in the sun. Carry on walking and you come to a section of the Cami de Cavalls, a walking route that circles the island. Back at our lovely apartment, there is an amazing large pool, with a sparkling clean restaurant providing drinks and meals and attended by lovely staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Loved their positive attitude. Similarly, the staff at reception were there to help with all requests. We felt relaxed and cared for. And last but not least our rooms were immaculate with fresh towels every other day; even lovely beach towels provided on The kitchen was well equipped with a new microwave and hob; there was loads of storage space for kitchen items, clothes and paraphernalia. Tut is a 30/40 minute walk into Fornells, a small harbour town with gorgeous restaurants and there is a timely bus service if you want to visit the larger towns on the island. Absolutely loved TRH Tirant Playa and we can’t wait to return.

Easy check in with great friendly staff and got room earlier than expected which was good. Our apartment was a good size and definitely value for money for what we paid, the pool area was nice but the cafe seemed a wee bit pricey as were the restaurants up the road as well as the overpriced supermarket cashing in on a captive market. We used this area as a based to do sea activities in Fornells which is a short drive away , no complaints about accommodation it was very good it’s just an area I wouldn’t stay in again.
