Vibra Blanc Cottage Apartamentos

*Long review alert!* We booked this a few weeks ago and there were practically no reviews due to it being taken over by new management. It came up as a bargain with TUI, so we booked a 2 bedroom apartment for 2 adults and 4 children. We were blown away to walk in to an extremely large 3 bedroom apartment! We had 3 balcony’s and 2 bathrooms. I can’t believe people are moaning about how quiet it is? There is the Tiki bar on the beach (which was about a 20 second walk from our apartment, but could be 5 mins depending on where in the complex you are situated). There is a lovely bar called Odeum which does food just a minutes walk from where you check in (Vibra Palace). This bar also has a restaurant next to it and a restaurant opposite which is wonderful for kids! It has trampolines and inflatables which the kids are welcome to play on if you buy a drink. Walk left across the cove for 5-10mins and you get to another restaurant. Go past this and you are at another gorgeous beach (Santandria) with a few more restaurants. I can only assume the people moaning did not do any research and expected lots of bars and restaurants to be seconds away? Maybe a 10 minute walk is too far? This is also where the closest supermarket is. We walked along the coast to Ciutadella which took 45 mins, this is with our youngest being only 3 years old. The bus back is €1.60 and only 10mins. You had the use of all pools across the whole complex, 3 big pools and 3 children’s. Staff were all friendly and everywhere was clean. If I had to say anything negative the only thing missing was a cupboard, as despite there being ample room for a couple of them, there wasn’t any! So when we did a big shop at Diskont (€5 in a taxi) our food had to live on the kitchen table. Also there was no freezer at the top of the fridge and no oven. There was the hobs, microwave and kettle so it was fine, we made do. Take mosquito spray as there are lots about! £46 tax payable at check in for the 6 of us for one week. For what we paid we couldn’t be more happy. Ignore the moaning negative reviews, we had a great time and would 💯 recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing holiday.

We stayed here which seems to go under 3 names of Vibra Palace apartments, vibra cottages and vibra aparthotel. We had a 1 bed apartment. The pluses: Great location, close to 3 beaches, close enough to walk to shops and Ciutadella etc. Good size 1 bedroom apartment. Nice size shower and living room. Good to have clothes/towel drier on the balcony. Kitchen had toaster, kettle, microwave and fridge with ice box but no cover in it. Good selection of food at meals. Good to have water/fruit juice included with dinner. The beds were comfortable with spare pillows and blankets. There are 3 adult pools and c4 kids pools, they’re mainly quiet apart from 1 which had louder music and animation so you can decide what atmosphere you want. The minuses: Rooms need some care, our handle to open the balcony door was a screw, the lock didn’t work but was fixed quickly when we raised this. There’s only a rail to hang 1 towel in the bathroom. The squeeze soap dispenser is at the far end of the shower. There are no labels on the air conditioner unit so it’s trial and error. There were at least 2 big teenage school parties- 1 was well behaved- the other partied loudly until 4am, 2 nights running with little done to stop the noise. Slamming doors, shouting and scraping furniture across floors. They cleared the food from the buffet then left loads uneaten. We were in a block of 6 flats - the 5 other flats were full of the noisy students, despite us asking to be moved the hotel had no spare rooms. The food was of reasonable quality but not the best, bread products were really nice but the dinner desserts were poor. Despite asking for the room to be cleaned it took 3 days for them to clean it and get fresh towels. Would I return? Probably not. Mainly due to the noisy school party, food quality and having to chase for cleaning. But it does have some good points too which would make it a good holiday for others

Apartment very tired - Broken Kettle, Kitchen Chairs, Balcony furniture needed to be binned etc, took days to get issues resolved. Very Limited menu at snack bar and all closed at 6pm. Complex Supermarket was a waste of time so had to walk 20 mins to the next one. Could all do with a lick of paint and refresh.

Apartments were very basic but good enough for a self catering break Domestic staff were very helpful Pool bar is very expensive with limited options No adults only pool as per website Nothing in the vicinity to do as per website Great bar two minutes walk with a fab food truck and excellent value for food and drinks. Fabulous beach and beach bar Would I stay here again ..NO

had to wait to check into apartment as cleaners were still cleaning. took an early flight with tui which was pointless as we had to wait 3 hours for room to be ready. if you are self catering the shop nearest was a complete waste of space. carried very little stock so you have to take a 10 minute walk to the other shop to get provisions, not a great experience when your at retirement age. read the reviews on restaurants etc supposed to be 25 within 15 min walk utter rubbish. there is one bar/burger van which was good value and good food which is 6-8oo metres from the apartments. and opposite there is a kiddies bouncy castle area which has a spanish restaurant that opens at 7.30. if you can put up with screaming kids running in and out and around your table it is a magical experience one that i will treasure forever .we only ate here as the only other restaurant is next to the burger van and the menu is is only in spanish no big deal as it was only had 4 people in it the entire time we were there the rest of the time it was closed. do not think you can pop out to a bar for a few drinks. you can not. there are not any. there are three other restaurants but they are a good fifteen minute walk away and you would be wise tot book in advance as you will not get a table. hard to book when you have no info on them existing only found them by talking to other people if you want bars and restaurants then you have to take a taxi or bus into ciudadela 4-5 euro for taxi 1.60 euro on bus. no information in room about resort.and tui desk in reception about as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike just shows you trips you can book. not everyone has the tui app a rep would be nice to see. the pool area was very good. plenty of sunbeds and brollies. snacks and drinks ok bit pricey at pool bar. all in all if your looking to loose weight or go teetotal this is the place for you . would we come here again no. if there was more here yes .

If you are looking for a relaxed chilled holiday would highly recommend this resort. My partner and I came for a break and it was just what we needed the accommodation is spacious and all within a few minutes of the main pool area. The old town is less than five minutes in a taxi and is approx 6 euro. If you go for a little explore from the hotel there are lovely little coves a bit further along with a few bars and restaurants. Staff are friendly and helpful and we would definitely come back again. Temperature is mid 20’s first week of June. If I could say one negative thing is the music in the pool area could be changed a bit as it’s repeated each day and stops at 4 which is a bit early in the afternoon.

A great place. No complaints. Everyone is lovely. Food is great. Staff are great. Pools are lovely. Highly recommend. Everyone does there best. Alexandra is very nice. I would come back. Menorca is a great island. The apartment is clean, tidy and cleaned every day.

Basic apartment but clean, swimming pool area ok, but alot of sun beds broken, pool bar only had small choice of food and often ran out. Location in very quiet area, with only the odd bar near by, so a trip in to town by bus or taxi is a must. Nearest supermarket was a good 20 minutes walk away, not ideal when self catering. But there was a gorgeous beach near by with a bar open til 10pm. If you are self catering don't forget tea bags, and a tea towel.

This Hotel is really lovely. The apartments are very spacious and clean . We had two bathrooms and a tv in lounge. We came half board the food for breakfast is good. The evening meal leaves a lot to be desired. There is not enough staff although the one's here work like crazy. It's such a shame as this could be amazing if they just made the evening meal more enjoyable. 😩
