Apartamentos Moon Dreams Cabo de Baños

THERE IS NO AIR CONDITIONING. THERE ARE NO ACTIVITIES PROVIDED AT ALL. THERE IS NO POOL BAR OR RESTAURANT. THE RECEPTION OFFICE IS DISUSED AND IS LOCKED UP. KEYS HAVE TO BE COLLECTED FROM LOS LENTICOS COMPLEX 500 YARDS DOWN THE ROAD. Myself and wife stayed here in May 2022. Very quiet location. The apartment was clean and well equipped. 1970's era development. The exterior is a little jaded but the interiors have recently been done up. Getting the key to the apartment is a real cock-eyed arrangement. No instructions from our third party holiday provider (On the Beach Dot Com) at all. We arrived at the complex and yes there is a reception office. It is locked up though and covered in dust and cobwebs when you look through the window. Luckily we managed to find another tourist who told us we had to register our passports and collect the key to our apartment from the reception at another complex 500 yards down the road...Los Lenticos. Some instructions on this would have been nice. I found myself helping some Italian tourists who turned up mid-week not knowing how to get their apartment keys. Apartment Details: Kitchen - A new fridge freezer, microwave, toaster and two ring electric hob. Lots of cupboard space. They provided a new bottle of washing up liquid, a dishcloth and a tea-towel (many thanks.....this was much appreciated). Couple of saucepans, frying pan, two pyrex dishes and limited cutlery provided. No corkscrew, tin opener didn't work, no spatula for frying eggs for example. We always take our own corkscrew/ bottle opener and a decent small chopping knife with us in the hold luggage from hard experience of self-catering. There was a bread knife. Plenty of crockery. No mugs though just cups and saucers. Bathroom - Large bathroom quite modern. Lovely big corner bath in the bathroom with a jacuzzi as part of it with a shower hose over the bath. Hairdryer on the wall. Sink and toilet. Toilet paper provided (two rolls). I asked the cleaning lady for some extra and she said no problem. Two large towels and two hand towels provided. Hot water always on tap. Bedroom - Well not really a bedroom but fenced off from the living room by a freestanding wooden partition which made this a 'studio' apartment. I'd paid the extra fifty odd quid to On the Beach Dot Com to have a one-bedroomed apartment and we ended up with the standard studio apartment (On the Beach you can leave your customer service phone number on answer-machine for so long but I WILL get my fifty odd quid back one way or the other). I tried asking the nice receptionist at Los Lenticos about this and she said that apartment was all they had to offer, the others were all booked up. Two single beds which were quite new. Spotless bed linen. Large wardrobe. Two bedside tables with lamps. Living Room - Settee (that converts into a bed with another pull out bed beneath it), sideboard, flat screen tv with all Spanish language channels. No BBC or any other English channels. Una estancia muy agradable. Veníamos con miedo, puesto que los comentarios eran muy negativos. Y nada que ver, todo lo contrario. Hemos estado genial. El apartamento limpio, el hidromasaje va genial, sin ningún problema, el aire acondicionado también. Colchón muy cómodo, personal atento...

scribió: Tuvimos una experiencia pésima durante nuestra estancia, pasemos la primera noche sin agua caliente tras un largo viaje no nos pudimos ni duchar el hidromasaje del apartamento no funcionaba, el apartamento estaba bastante sucio y descuidado mi hijo se quitó los zapatos al entrar y llevaba los pies negros de lo sucio que estaba el suelo, la nevera estaba llena de pelos largos negros y estaba sucia; la sartén se pegaba y era muy vieja por lo que hasta la segunda noche tampoco pudimos usar la cocina, las cortinas estaban llenas de moho pero lo que más me sorprendió fue el desagüe del aire acondicionado había una botella de fanta cortada con el tubo del desagüe dentro y estaba por fuera de la barandilla para que el agua cayera fuera. En la entrada de nuestro apartamento había mucha basura se veía muy descuidado todo intenté buscar otro lugar donde quedarme pero fue imposible. Tras comunicarme con el hotel y exponer mi situación tras tres emails no obtuve respuesta por parte del establecimiento así que no puedo valorar mi experiencia de otro modo que no sea pésima.

Lo mejor la ubicación, inmejorable zona, puesta de sol, aparcamiento, tranquilidad. Todo lo demás, mal. Ya cuando llegas ves en la fachada que todo son reparaciones a parches. Dentro nada de mantenimiento. Apartamento bastante viejo. Muy deteriorado, grifos verdes de ácido, con fugas por todas partes. Lo del jacuzzi no tiene nombre, asqueroso, no nos atrevimos a usarlo más que como ducha. Polvo el que quieras, puedes escribir en el polvo de los muebles. Fregona con un olor vomitivo. Humedades y desconchones en las paredes. Bichos. Enchufes en mal estado que funcionan mal. Cada 3 días cambian toallas y sábanas, pero limpieza nada. La piscina, si quieres tumbona suerte, solo hay 6. Y va gente de otros sitios en coche, ya que no hay ningún control y está abierto. Para el precio que tiene vergonzoso.

Lasciato andare al peggio. Peccato perché è un buon complesso di abitazioni, di nuova costruzione, ma che necesiterebbe già di manutenzione. Muffa nelle stanze, intonaco che si stacca, pulizia stanze saltuaria. Non c'è aria condizionata, ma uno scrauso ventilatore. Ci sono formiche, mosche e scarafaggi perché è una zona sperduta sul mare. Basterebbe dotare di spray ogni stanza per debellare il tutto in poche ore. Io ho fatto così e ha funzionato. Insomma, piccoli accorgimenti per un panorama che non ha eguali, per chi scegli la stanza fronte mare. La cucina ha il minimo indispensabile ma è funzionale,NON c'è il wifi,nella casa ci sono una scopa, il mocio per spazzare, un frigo e tv satellitare. Il bagno è grande e c è anche la jacuzzi. Però davvero, se non sistemate le piccole cose fra non molto demolite e ricostruite tutto, vi converrà.

Hemos estado durante una semana. Es un lugar en un enclave excepcional, vistas directas al mar y unos atadeceres dignos de pelicula. Pero es importante que para ser excelente cuiden unos detalles importantes, como la limpieza, que deja muchisimo que desear y aunque hay cambio de sabanas y toallas de forma rutinaria, ningun dia se ha realizado la mas minima limpieza. Por otro lado, las hormigas campan a sus anchas, si te dejas cualquier resto de comida, por pequeño que sea, aparece el hosmiguero al completo. Es una pena, que un lugar en un entorno de 10,se quede en un tres por no cuidar estos detalles.
