On our arrival we were upgraded to an apartment. This was beautiful. Had a bedroom, bathroom with bath and shower, living room with tv and kitchen with stove, toaster, fridge and coffee making facilities. It also had an outdoor sitting area with table and chairs. There are plenty of shops and restaurants on the doorstep. We were half board and the food was the best we’ve had. Something to suit everyone. It was immaculately clean and the food was always hot. The puddings were particularly good. The beach is 2 mins walk away and is beautiful. There is a bus stop outside the hotel if you want to explore further. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back.

We were blown away by this hotel. From start to finish our visit was perfect. From the check in with the adorable Guillermo to the very attentive bar tender Julio. Oscar in the dining room did a splendid job organising everybody and Yessica and Juan Jesus worked tirelessly and always with a smile. There was always a great choice of food and plenty of it too. The pool and area was great. Our room had recently been refurbished and was kept spotless by the maid. The evening entertainment was very enjoyable and we were lucky enough with the weather that we could watch it outdoors. I advised the hotel in advance that we were celebrating our twentieth wedding anniversary and we were thrilled to receive a lovely hand written note and chocolates on our arrival. The hotel is a two minute walk away from a beautiful beach. We hired a car for the two weeks we were there and as the island is very small we were able to visit lots of places. We loved our stay here and would love to return. The island is very safe and the people are so lovely.

Lovely simple hotel and location and a lovely surrounding area. Food was very nice and some very nice local specialties and staff very friendly and helpful. In particular Juan Jesus Candela who was very helpful and extremely precessional.

Minura Cala Galdana is a large, refurbished hotel close to the beach. Great location and views, with hardworking staff helping the hotel be environmentally friendly. Wide range of food for every taste ( + gluten-free options), a large (chilly) outdoor pool with lifeguards and evening entertainment. Bus service at the door to Mahon and Cuitadella too. Our third stay here and we've had a relaxing break at a great price.

Excellent hotel service. Very good food, there are regional dishes. Note the churros!!!, they are so delicious that the weight measuring device will be fit to throw away. Great pool and bar next door, handsome lifeguards watching over. Very good internet via WiFi but better to read a book and don't forget UV cream. You can explore the beaches on the island with a guide.

We stayed half board at the Minura for a week in September and it was faultless. The food was exceptional, the room spacious and spotless and the staff friendly and very helpful. A special mention to Alejo for his attentiveness! The location is superb - just minutes from the beautiful beach, restaurants and shops. The pool area was not crowded and there was no issue obtaining a sunbed. Cala Galdana is perfect for a relaxing holiday and the Minura is highly recommended.

This hotel was brilliant!!! Initially I was disappointed that we didn’t have a balcony . BUT - we did have a beautiful sea and pool view . The cleanliness was impeccable . The food and drinks were just perfect & not over priced . The location was great 5 min walk to the beach , same to shops restaurants and bars . Bus stop just across the road with regular buses all over the island . Entertainment was fabulous too . We had a great holiday & would love to return sometime .

Fantastic stay at Minura Cala Galdana - half board in a two bed apartment was great value for us as a family of 4. The restaurant staff were incredibly friendly and hard working, especially Juan Jesus and Candela who were welcoming and attentive. The food selection at breakfast and dinner was impressive. The beach was stunning and a 3 min walk away. Water shallow and calm and lots of beach cafes. For adventures there are pedalos with slides, paddle boards, canoes and boats to hire. We enjoyed lunch at Mirador overlooking the beach as well - this was such a treat! Great kids disco as well, thank you to Sara and Jasmine. We will be back!

Travelled as a family of 4 with 5 month old baby and 2 year old. The hotel looks lovely and is in a nice safe location. We didn't like the apartment we were given as it was right next to the road and not what we had booked. We were given a better room with a nice terrace, entertainment was good and on until 11pm so don't expect to go bed before then but it was manageable. Unfortunately the whole holiday was ruined with our 2 year old little boy getting food poisoning on day 2 of our holiday where we had to call a doctor then all go as a family to the local hospital in the early hours. The staff were great in helping us organise this and the hospital was spotless with great staff too Our little boy was not himself for the next 2 days so we stayed at the hotel. Then on the 5th day I then had food poisoning from the restaurant at the pool side (we thought this would be safe as its supposed to be cooked fresh) but i found hair in my food and was extremely ill soon after. had to have a doctor call out as I was violently ill. The next day our baby was then vomitting so we took her to the doctor and then had to have another trip to the hospital. it was our first holiday as a family of four we were devastated.
