An amazing experience from start to finish, each and every employee was exemplary! Room was absolutely beautiful with the most amazing views of the sea! Food in both the bar and the house restaurant were exceptional! Breakfast was also excellent! An incredible way to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary! Thanks so much to everyone at cliff house for a truly fabulous weekend!

My wife and I had a short break at the Cliff House Hotel. I had often heard about it but had never been. Right from the very start this was a celebration of old world elegance. I don't mean that the hotel is tired. Far from it. Everything is modern and very well maintained. The rooms are beautifully appointed and by fiendish contrivance all have sea views. The rooms run down the face of the Cliff. Our room had a balcony. There is a cliff garden which runs between the balconies. We ate dinner at the bar which was very pleasant. Our breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever enjoyed. With valet parking and your bags transferred as if by magic to your room there is a strong sense of being minded right from the start. Which of us doesn't need a little minding? The staff are wonderful. All pleasant and smiling. A particular mention for Patrick who met us on arrival and was such a gentleman making us feel instantly at home. He also rescued us when he found us wandering lost around the hotel for which I am grateful! In short this is a wonderful hotel and a lovely experience. I can't wait to come back.

Time goes too fast when you are here, it's a fabulous hotel, with truly fabulous views over the water from all the rooms, such a relaxing place, we absolutely love it here. Out of 10, would give it 11. And we will certainly be back. Dip in the sea recommended too.

I adored my 3 day stay at the beautiful Cliff House hotel. Firstly it helps to know that the fifth floor is where you enter the main door to reception. I stayed in room 52 on the fifth floor. Check-in was simple with lovely welcoming reception staff. Room 52 is a very quiet spacious room with a good sized balcony and a fabulous view of both Ardmore village and the nearby beach. From the balcony you can also see way out to the beautiful blue sea, the view is magical. It feels like you're on a ship without seasickness! The bathroom was perfect with great space. It had both a bath and shower. A lovely touch were very cool waterfall type taps. Everything was very clean. Lovely soft bath robes also. Breakfast was really good with tables facing out to the sea. There isn't a lot of GF choice of food (on bar or restaurant menus) however staff were more than happy to accommodate alternatives and the GF pastries are particularly nice, especially the lemon cake! Throughout the hotel the staff were lovely and helpful. It was lovely and quiet at night. No mad partying like in lots of other hotels! It is a very short walk to the charming Ardmore village which has a very handy Centra shop, cafes and of course the beautiful sandy beach just across the road. Both Ardmore and Cliff House are among the most peaceful places I have ever been and I think the reviews don't do Cliff House enough justice, you really need to stay here to experience it in person. I am lucky enough to have stayed in many gorgeous hotels but Cliff House had the nicest view of them all and much more to offer. This hotel really stands out. I highly highly recommend it. ♥️

Just back from a truly relaxing stay at The Cliff House Hotel. The staff are execptional, the food wonderful, the rooms so comfortable and the views amazing. It's a special place to spend some 'me' or 'us' time.
