A Hoteli - Hotel Izvor

It's old 5 star hotel with very poor management. Hotel is old and not well maintained. Definitely not worth the money. Bad smell in many areas including SPA. Trash is everywhere. Food at the pool is prepared at very high temperatures without proper sanitary equipment for the staff. We found hair in our burger. Toilet at the pool not regularly cleaned. In general they did not seem to care about customer service. We will definitely avoid in future.

Hygiene at common places is extremely low, particularly around the pool and SPA. Smell of drinking water in SPA area of mold. I would definitely not recommend taking kids to kids club. Our little one got severe diarrhea. Otherwise Aqua park is nice as its not crowed. Although you need to watch for your small kids as there was no lifeguard around the kids pool and kids were bumping at each other which can be dangerous.

Everything is at a high level (accommodation, food, spa, services...). When you add a very nice Bukulja mountain nearby - walking distance (with hiking possibilities and fantastic viewpoint on the top), famous park on the other side of the street, nothing is missing.

A rather poor experience as the hotel is overpriced. It is almost 200€ per night. Rooms are so small that we didn't have a single chair in the room. Don't hope to see the working desk. The room was on the second floor. Had to pass next to matrices and other room equipment for 3 days. Anyway, matrices in our room were a total disaster. Also, the safe deposit box didn't work in our room but I haven't bothered to report. If you have back issues, avoid sleeping in the hotel. The pool is nice but it gets so crowded that there is no place to sit. You don't get another robe at the pool so you have to take the one from the room. The dressing room at the pool is both male and female so have in mind if you don't like such an approach. Also, you have to access the indoor pool from indoors by stairs. It is like a first floor so hard for those with walking issues. For 200€ a night, bowling should be paid for 7€ per hour. And rather complicated as you need to go to the pool area, to ask to get a bowling track. All other hotel prices are extremely high and thanks to poor roads in the Aranđelovac area (not to blame the hotel) it is a rather poor experience. We like to stay for a few days, on short vacations. From what I have experienced in other hotels, I can't recommend it. If you are in the area and need to have a night over, it is OK and you know it is too expensive. Value for the money is low. The bright side are people working in the hotel. Food is also very good. That is why it is 2 stars in this review.

I’ve been coming to this hotel for years, both in the summer and winter. I must say that the quality of service dropped down massively. By the outdoor pool you can barely find decent sun bed and the shade. All sun beds are old and dirty, all different types, there are not enough sun umbrellas. To order food you have to que in one line and for drinks in another one so if you want your drinks together with food, you need to wait twice. Staff is kind but that’s not enough, there is not enough waiters, you can barely order from a waiter if you are at the pool. they can’t manage so many people. Food for breakfast and dinner is varied but not tasty. Not a 5 stars hotel standard. Pools are still nice, but crowded. If you decide to stay in the hotel, you better chill out in aqua park, it’s not crowded there. Rooms are ok, but in some of them there was no furniture on the terrace.

Pros: - we had a lovely room (Superior Double Room) - excellent breakfast and dinner - the food was fantastic - nice location of the hotel - upon arrival, we were very pleased that based on the emial I sent to the hotel, they prepared dinner for us in the room, which we missed. Cons: - hotel employees behave like pigs. They walk around the garbage and step over it (maybe it's because all Serbs live in a dump and are all pigs who throw garbage around) - hotel employees do not know how to say hello and smile - the worst was when I asked for water for my child when leaving and was literally told in a harsh tone: "Go buy it somewhere"... In hotels of this category it is common to receive a "travel package" or some small attention for child. But I think this rude behavior was not appropriate. Anyway, the hotel is great and due to the ill-mannered staff, it deserves no other rating than the best.
