Mare Monte Beach Hotel

Clean hotel, very good food, responsive staff, everything was wonderful. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the ideal place. The beach has fine sand and a gentle entry into the water. I recommend the hotel.

Hotel services and staff was perfect, delicious food, nice pool, cleanliness, a decent offer of trips around Crete, gentle sandy beach next to the hotel and right next to it you can rent water sports. With 2 childs (8 and 13 year) great holiday. I would go again in a heartbeat.

Great location directly on the beach, friendly staff, tasty food, one of our best vacations ever. Easy walk into town, nice mountain views, good entertainment, comfortable room. Bus to Chania (cool city) stops in front of hotel. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Food, place, beach, sea etc. are all great. The only problem was water they served, it tasted chemically, like pool water (chlorine), we had to buy bottled water. French animators were less loud than last time. 9/10, will propably visit again.

As usual (after three visits) the hotel was great and my experience didn't (almost) degrade. Food, room, sea, nearly everything. The only problem was a bad, chemical taste of served water, we had to buy bottled water this time. Tasted like pool water for some reason. On the other hand, french animators were less loud than last time, as there were less guests in the hotel in October. There were a lot more Germans and Czechs there than I remember from previous visits. Other problem was that the hotel is far from Heraklion and bus ride there takes over two hours (with stops in other hotels), but that is a problem of my travel agency, who has no flights to Chania.
