Hotel et le Cafe de Paris

When visiting Appledoorn I always try to stay here. The hotel is average in appearance but has a very friendly atmosphere and is ideal for accessing the amenities of the town. Rooms are modern and clean. I always enjoy my stay here. Staff are young but very attentive.

It was a great pleasure to stay at the hotel. We were 5 couples and all found the hotel beautiful. The rooms are clean and modern especially the bathroom . The location is gorgeous in the middle of Apeldoorn. Everyone was friendly and supportive! Breakfast was nice, the coffee or cappuccino best in class! Ok, no elevator available and the stairs upstairs are steep, on the other hand it‘s the character of the old building.

Hotel is located in the main square and on top of one of their restaurant. There also lots of restaurants and shops along the main street. Train station is around 10 mins walk, but there are bus stations nearby. You can take the bus to Giethoorn (via Zwolle) and Nationale Park De Hoge Veluwe. This is also the reason I picked this city. The room is newly renovated, bed and pillow is very comfortable. Bathroom is new and clean with a hairdryer. Big enough to put my big suitcase, and store my stuff. They even have a coffee machine. I think I'm in a 5-star! They don't have staff managing the reception desk, but all the staff (waiter and waitress) can help. You don't need to wait long to get help from one of the staff. They are very friendly and helpful. Things you need to aware, the hotel don't have lift, you need to carry luggage through a steep staircase to 2nd floor. Luckily, the staff assist as well. Although the sound proof is not good, it only have a few rooms there, it is not a big matter. There are also noise from the restaurants in the square. To me, it is fine because it won't till mid-night. They have 2 restaurants, one is casual 'Cafe de Paris', one is fine dining 'Spicebrush de Proeverij'. I tried both. Food are so good, and not expensive. Apeldoorn is a lovely small city. There is not many point of interest, but it is good to stay there and explore the surrounding. I love to come back!

Had a fabulous welcome from the staff. We left our bags at reception while we were shown where the cycle garage was. Came back and checked in. We were shown to our room by the most helpful lady. She and another member of staff carried our bags up the stairs to our room. We were at the back of the hotel. Our room was big and the bathroom massive. It also had a bath which was great after a days cycling. Hotel is right bang in the middle of town which was perfect. Very clean. Plenty of hot water. We ate in the restaurant for the two evenings of our stay. Food was amazing and a good price. We would definitely stay again if we're in the area and would certainly recommend

Erg lekker geluncht: broodje met zalm( zie foto) was heerlijk, de anderen hadden lunch de paris, heerlijke soep, 3 Provençaalse sneetjes heerlijk belegd. Alles mooi verzorgd, goede bediening, heel snel ondanks dat het vol zat. Je kan leuk zitten, wij zaten op een verhoging met een prachtig plafond.

Leuk hotel met restaurant. Leuke ambiance. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en gezellig, en bovendien supersnel. Nooit lege glazen gehad. Heel gastvrij en lekker eten. Je ziet dat er onderling enorm goede samenwerking en binding is. Receptie zit op een plek waar je niet verwacht maar je zit ineens midden in de sfeer.
