We stayed here for one night. The hotel is in great location, very close to the old town. Check in can be faster if the check-in desk has more people to help. The room we stayed had problem with drainage of the shower room. The hotel changed the room for us quickly after we informed them. Room is comfortable but can be cleaner as we notice some hair on the floor. Breakfast was ok. Overall a good hotel, great location, would be a great hotel with more attention to cleanliness.

The hotel is located in the center of Xiaogui Lake. The other side of the lake is very lively and quiet. The waiters are very friendly, the rooms are large and the facilities are complete. The hotel has thoughtfully prepared afternoon tea, souvenirs and high-speed rail pick-up services, making you feel at home.

The inn is located in the ancient city of Jianshui, very close to the Zhujia Garden, Jianshui Confucian Temple, and the Academic and Political Examination Shed. Online taxis can be picked up and dropped off directly at the door of the inn. The inn also provides electric bicycles, tricycles, and car rentals. The family room we booked has one 1.8-meter large bed and two 1.35-meter beds, which can accommodate 3-4 people. The room is clean and tidy, and the room rate includes breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and a free pottery making experience. The service at the inn is very considerate. Each room has an introduction to Jianshui tourist attractions and guides on where to eat, live and play. All in all, the price/performance ratio is good and I recommend staying there!

Without sunshine, we could not see the light and shadow terraces. But fortunately, the hotel has floor heating and air conditioning, which is still very comfortable even in such a cold weather. The most important thing for going up the mountain in winter is the facilities. The room you booked can also soak your feet, which is also a highlight. If the pool is bigger, it would be even better to soak in a medicinal bath. The butler service is very proactive. The two meals we had were also very good. The boss is also very nice and introduced a delicious beef restaurant. Next time I have the opportunity, I will stay a few more days and walk various hiking routes.

I remind the hotel to adjust the air conditioning in each room in advance before the temperature drops next time. The hotel is still highly recommended!

Rooms are comfortable and clean. Though the breakfast offered was not to the standard of a luxury hotel I would say. Otherwise, all is good. 👍

There are several inns from top to bottom. Their location is not the highest. After leaving the parking lot, you have to walk a long dirt road and stone steps to the bottom. It is a bit inconvenient for elderly people with mobility problems. Fortunately, the inn staff will carry a large backpack to help you carry your suitcase. I was afraid that my 28-inch suitcase would not fit, so they had to help us deliver it to the parking lot the next day. Although the view is not as wide as the above inns, it feels closer to the terraces. In addition to the view room, there is also an outdoor platform where you can drink tea, sunbathe and enjoy the view. The interior is very unique and romantic, and feels very warm. There are a few sofa cushions on the wooden staircase, and I feel like I can sit there for an afternoon to drink tea, read books, and bask in the sun. The room is also quite warm, with air conditioning, electric blankets, and a large shower room with separate wet and dry areas. You can enjoy the view from the large French window, but I still set up a tripod to take a time-lapse photo early in the morning. The sunrise was about 7:50, and I felt like I had been waiting for half an hour and it still hadn't come out. I couldn't help but go upstairs to the room, but it suddenly jumped out. The innkeeper thought it wouldn't come out today, but fortunately he took a photo and asked him to send it to me. If you come to Yuanyang Terraces, I suggest staying here, so you don't have to rush to the viewing platform early in the morning to watch the sunrise.
