I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my stay at the Lucky Monkey Hotel. The delicious food, breathtaking views, friendly staff, and the relaxing spa and massage made my experience exceptional. As someone who pays attention to detail, I found my room impeccably clean, and the room service was extremely helpful. I’d also like to give a special thank you to Natalia. As a software engineer who spends long hours at a desk, I arrived with severe back pain. Thanks to her expert massage, I feel significantly better. Natalia is an incredibly skilled masseuse who explained every step of the process, making the experience even more enjoyable. I will definitely return for another stay!

Good things: rooms were clean and provided a nice view (when facing the ocean) the hotel does have a nice lounge/beach adjacent to it which is free to use. However, prices there were absolutely ridiculous. Bad things: the reception staff were the worst I've had to deal with, borderline incompetent. Unfriendly service - we felt like they were doing us a favour by letting us stay there and the whole experience was just awful. Would rather stay anywhere else next time.

Positives: - Location and views. - Great amenities in the surrounding areas - Great transport connection Negatives: - Only one iron in the entire hotel. - The hotel beach is extremely overpriced for the quality. - The music at the beach is ridiculously loud even when is empty, turning a relaxing time into a discomfort. A total wrong concept of what luxurious time is, seemingly something they seem to attempt to deliver. - The food is cheap deep fried stuff , not to say basic, having very good restaurants around. Conclusion: The hotel boast of having a 8.5 score which I completely disagree and therefore deceiving. A solid 7 points is the reality. If I had known beforehand that the private beach provides basic menu and service and all day long unbearable loud music, I wouldn't have booked it whatsoever.

travelled to Antalya to have dental work done with the Atellia Clinic (fantastic and highly recommended). As part of the package on your first visit you are given accommodation which you choose from a short list. I chose Lucky Monkey because of its funky decor and so called proximity to the beach and the fact that it had a pool. The package given was “half board”. Staff: a mixture of good customer service skills and sullen resentment was what I found. When you state in the evening that you’re there as half board, you’re not given a menu. They tell you that there is a choice between two items for each course. If you don’t fancy them, tough. You can order from the main menu and pay full price. One evening I was brought tortellini when I had ordered quesadillas. I pointed out the waiter’s error and he just glared at me. When I said I wouldn’t be eating it he took it away. One minute later he was back with the same plate saying it was not possible to have quesadillas. I again told him I wasn’t prepared to have what he brought and he stormed off. Magically, 5 minutes later he appeared with quesadillas. Given a lot of the guests were dental patients and involving at least two days where it would be impossible to eat anything but soft foods you would think that when the choices were schnitzel or burger they would allow you to substitute an omelette. Nope. Tough mate, order from the menu. The swimming pool turned out to be INSIDE THE RESTAURANT and unheated. Why anyone would want to swim in it is beyond me and I saw no one availing themselves of it. There is no beach. “We are building it just now.” I was told. The on-site spa is great value for money. Around £16 for a 50 minute massage by a lovely Indonesian lady. On days between treatment days a trip to Lara Beach by taxi was needed. Around £6 each way. But once at the beach you have to hire sun beds. In the opposite direction of the beach is a large area of shabby housing with zero charm or nice restaurants. The location. Of The Lucky Monkey is poor if you’re expecting to combine a bit of a holiday with your treatment. I extended my check out time by six hours and the cost was €40. When I did check out, there were errors on my bill where items I had paid for in cash at the time appeared on my room account. There was a big rigmarole involved in having these voided and took three members of staff to do so. The guy I took to be a manger (Damon Hill lookalike) was the most sullen hospitality team member I’ve ever met. He seemed to spend most of his time looking at his phone. In summary, avoid this hotel if you’re offered it by Atellia and choose one of the others. That is unless you wish to just treat it as a hospital room for recovering in. When I return in six months for stage two of my treatment I will definitely be going elsewhere. Oh, and why did I give my review this title? EVERY single surface of every object in the hotel had the grinning chimpanzee logo from slippers to hand wipes, to umbrellas,

Ibrahim, Gamze & Adil, Ali in fact everyone was absolutely amazing. We have the most amazing room with panoramic sea views. The staff were amazingly helpful from the housekeeping to the restaurant with Memet & his team. The gentleman in the spa was very helpful too. Definitely coming back again.
