Staybridge Suites des Moines North - Ankeny

During my stay of a few days, there were problems that I don't usually encounter at Staybridge Suite locations. A strong nasty odor started in the bathroom every evening and lasted throughout the night. I called for a manager and they were unavailable, so I reported the problem to the front desk. They confirmed there had been some rooms with the foul smell problem. I requested a room change but none were available. Everytime I asked to speak to a manager, they were unavailable. The rooms with the odor should not be rented until the problem is fixed. As this is an IHG property, l am sure things will get straightened out.

The staff was kind and very accommodating. The hotel amenities were in good working condition and were very nice. The other reviews that have lambasted this hotel for its customer service couldn't be any further off bass. Jennifer was a delight to work with as was Elena the sales manager. I would recommend this hotel to anyone in coming into the area.
