While the hotel room itself was nicely furnished and clean, my overall experience was disappointing. The breakfast was acceptable, but the service left much to be desired—particularly from a middle-aged receptionist who worked the morning shift. He claimed to be the only staff member who could speak English, yet he treated us with outright rudeness. Once, my mother and I urgently needed a taxi to make it to an appointment on time. When we asked the receptionist to arrange one, he laughed dismissively and assured us that all he had to do was press a button at his desk for a taxi to arrive. However, when we went downstairs, he simply gestured toward the street and told us to find one ourselves. This level of unprofessionalism was both frustrating and unacceptable. The rest of the staff members were friendly and nice. Additionally, I would not recommend this hotel for solo female travelers. My mother and I never felt entirely safe during our stay. The hallways were dimly lit, with motion-activated lights that only turned on once you stood directly underneath them. Furthermore, the hotel’s proximity to several nightclubs made the surrounding area feel unsafe, especially at night.
