Cozy House ‘Heide’ (6p.) at a Canal Near Lake Lauwersmeer

House ‘heide’ is fully furnished for a holiday with 6 people. Two of the three bedrooms (one with a balcony) are upstairs, the master bedroom, the living area and the fully equipped kitchen are located on the ground floor. The living area has a direct access to the terrace and the surrounded garden. The house itself is well insulated and even at tropical temperatures, it stays cool inside. Outdoor area: The terrace of ‘heide’ is equipped with garden furniture, a parasol and a barbecue. The property is fenced to the water and therefore suitable for children. Behind the house is a wide, fish-rich ditch. Rudd, eels, carp are caught here regularly. Parking is possible at the front side of the property. (Distinctive features:) There is wifi, a tv and a washing machine available and baby cot and high chair are available on request. (Surroundings:) Oostmahorn is an old stronghold at the at the western side of the Lauwerslake with a rich history, dating back to the sixteenth century. Nowadays it’s a very pleasant tourist destination at the National Park Lauwersmeer, hosting several holiday resorts. The lake itself and the direct surroundings are a true paradise for nature lovers, fisherman, water sports enthusiasts, cyclists and hikers. Dogs are more than welcome here as well. There’s a special beach and a forest for them at Lauwersoog. Within a couple of hundreds of meters there are several playgrounds for children. At the beach, in the small resort ‘de Skâns’ and in Esonstad - which is a holiday resort build as a replica of a typical old Frysian city. In Esonstad you’ll even find a bouncy castle and an indoor playing hall and one can play golf and foot golf here at the local Pitch & Putt area. Renting a bicycle or e-chopper is also possible here. In Esonstad you can easily do your daily groceries (a bigger supermarkt is just a couple of kilometers away in Anjum) or find a restaurant, pizzeria or a snackbar.
