"Horrible hotel, the cleaning hadn't been done. I found an open packet of cookies under the bed and a lot of dirt. There was no soundproofing between the rooms. The staff didn't listen. The owner didn't accept my complaints about her hotel; she called me six hours after I left to accuse me of tearing the wallpaper, even though the hotel is dilapidated—the walls, doors, and baseboards are damaged. I was on the fourth floor; there's no elevator to the top floor, so I had to carry my luggage myself. No one helped me. Avoid this place immediately; it's disgusting."

"The room was nice, with a nice view of the big yard. We had to pay for the parking, which was indoor with easy access to the hotel lobby. The hotel service was good. The girl at the front desk gave us a map of the old town and told us to follow the blueline marked on the ground to see the place. It worked very well."

"We stayed in a suite, which was nice and spacious. Furniture and decor was a bit dated and especially the blackout curtains and net curtains were very stained and had seen better days. The aircon worked efficiently and was quiet. Bathroom was really great and well equipped with very good toiletries (Shower Gel/Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Lotion and Handwash). There was even a make-up mirror. The soft drinks in the fridge were free and there is a coffee machine and a safe. We had a good sleep in the comfortable bed and the room was quiet. Even though it's on the edge of the old town, it's really quick to walk there and it's right next to a lovely little park. The receptionist Cynthia was very helpful."

"Stayed for 1 night during a visit to Angers. Convenient location and easy walking to most tourist attractions ; the tram is also available right across from the hotel. Very nice hotel with clean, comfortable rooms, nespresso machine, robes, slippers for Accor members.. There is the added advantage of hotel parking ($20 E). It is recommended to join the Accor loyalty program (free) for special benefits and offers. I would stay again."

Negatives: Having to wait for our room even though we arrived after 4pm and then, as soon, as we closed the door and started unpacking, having a manager knocking on our door asking us how early we were leaving in the morning as workmen were arriving! Which didn't make us feel very welcome!"

"We stayed for 5 nights thinking there would be plenty to do with the pool, lake and city to explore. The pool was decent however the lake is not good for swimming, very swampy and very restricted. The city is also not the greatest place to visit. The campsite is ok however our pitch had cigarette butts all over it. Food is very limited and the bar expensive. Shower blocks are good and clean. Staff ok but could be a lot friendlier. I think a decent place for a stop over but wouldn't recommend a longer stay."

"This was a one night stopover on a cycle trip through France. Considering Angers is on the Loire where there are so many cyclists this hotel seemed to be completely unprepared for cyclists- storage was on a landing down about 6 steps which was hard work with the ebike. Charging ( as the battery does not come out) was only allowed for two hours- I had to argue for that- in the reception area; and I don't think that they were particularly happy with that. Room like a normal Ibis and breakfast included in the rate was fine. I think in retrospect we would have been better off staying in the small 3* hotel round the corner which said "accueil velos ". "
