Candy Cane Inn

The hotel itself is very nice. However the parking lot is a disaster. The spots are very narrow which leads to people taking 1.5 instead of one. We arrived late and night and spent a solid 20 minutes trying to fit our car into the few remaining spots. We were not the only car out there doing this. We also got blocked in by the shuttle when we were trying to make a breakfast reservation. They need to solve this problem, which is what results in my 3 star review. The hotel itself is clean, the breakfast is good, the staff was friendly. It was a nice place to stays but if you might end up coming in late with a car I wish you the best of luck.

Highly recommend. I don't give 5 star ratings easily but the Candy Cane Inn is truly perfect. The recent pictures are 100% accurate. The rooms were recently renovated (I am unsure when) and they are beautiful and well kept as are the entire grounds. Shout out to James and the other shuttle driver who wears the Mickey hand, they were so so friendly and really added some fun, joy and hospitality to our week long stay. The general manager (Rico?) is clearly doing a great job. The front desk staff, housekeeping, landscapers ...the level of friendly service is truly top notch. Free Breakfast: Lots of options, hot and cold. Waffle & pancake station. Oatmeal, cereal, a nice assortment of muffins, whole fruit, cut fruit, cakes, donuts and bagels, coffee, hot chocolate, milk, juice and croissant breakfast sandwiches. My 8 year old even commented on the freshness of the fruit and usually ate a plateful every morning. Shaded and sunny seating. Everything tasted very fresh, none of the baked goods were old or stale. Location/Shuttle: Can't be beat, close enough to walk to Disneyland but they also have a timely shuttle every hour and more frequent in the morning. Shuttle was clean and always on time and I cannot emphasize enough how great those two drivers were. The inn is located on the same block as Disneyland, you can literally see the back Radiator Springs from the parking lot. There is also CVS, Walgreens, 7-Eleven and some souvenir shops within 2 minute walk, great for late night snacks or last minute sundries. Facilities: Very clean, very well kept. Love the lush landscaping throughout. Tastefully designed and modern. Staff: So friendly and helpful. From the front desk to the shuttle driver to the housekeeping, I get the sense that the management at CCI treats their staff like actual people and not just robots and that is wonderful. The room: I requested and was given a room located in the middle of the rooms and we had no issues with street or park noise. We also didn't hear our neighbors. We were on the top floor so I cannot speak to noise from above. Beds are comfortable and warm. Rooms towels could have been a bit larger but I am plus sized so that might be not be an issues for others. Plenty of room and storage. The Candy Cane Inn exceeded our expectations, if you visit Walt Disney World in Orlando and stay on-site and are used to that level of service and warmth, I highly recommend the Candy Cane Inn. When we visited Anaheim 15 years ago we stayed at another location and were hesitant about staying somewhere new but we are so happy we branched out. We will definitely return.

Looking for a hotel so close to Disneyland you can see the back of cars land? As a travel agent, I spend countless hours looking for hotels. As much as I love Disney hotels, sometimes the pricing just doesn't compare. Look no further than the Candy Cane Inn for your Disneyland stay! The check in staff was so welcoming. We arrived around 7am and was able to check in, drop our bags, have a quick (free!) breakfast and hop on the shuttle to the park entrance. While you could walk, we wanted to try the Trolley experience. The drivers were amazing and so friendly. Breakfast-Had more than I expected for a free breakfast. Staff members kept cleaning/refilling as well. Rooms were super clean, updated and had everything we needed for our stay. Free/Safe Parking Available SO many amenities and the pool/deck area was clean and inviting. I will 100% be back to the Candy Cane and have recommended to many since. The first time I was in the area, the main street with all the hotels/motels/inns honestly scared me a bit, but when I saw the Candy Cane in person, I was happy with my choice (and so was my family!) Thank you!
