Clean room, fresh breeze, glorious view, easy check-in. Comfy bed gave a great night’s sleep and should have stayed longer. Short drive to downtown Anacortes, where we ate delicious local sourced meals. Easy access to ferry to other islands.

Greatly improved from last stay here a year ago. Just a few things ..only decaf coffee with my coffee pot in the room. No light bulbs in one of the bedside lamps. Nice to have an ironing board, but an iron would have been nice too. Had to kill three spiders in the tub. Biggest complaint that I always have why no grab bars in the tub/ shower?? A towel rack is NOT a grab bar the tub floor is slippery when wet and soapy and I don't think the shower curtains will hold me up when I have to grab them while stepping into or out of the tub. The room was clean, the bed comfortable the view great. Nice and quiet. Fridge and microwave adequate. TV was strange. it kept turning it's self on at night, hopefully no bored ghosts?? Didn't try the breakfast so not able to comment on it.

We had a ground level room. The Jacuzzi was fithy. The patio door did not lock and the front door security chain was broken. The coffee maker still had a used pod still in it. Do they bother cleaning their rooms? The Continental breakfast was minimal at best. There were no glasses for orange juice or milk. We had to use coffee mugs. We paid over $250 for a Thursday. So disappointed in what we received or should I say, did not receive for the high price.

The person that works the desk at this hotel is the rudest person I have ever dealt with at a hotel. He charged us $50 for a pet fee and we don’t even own a pet! No pet ever entered the property and he refused to look at the cameras to verify this. He claimed he had photos but wouldn’t share them and then hung up on me. Totally unprofessional and rude. We had a large party and 4 rooms there total. Rooms were not even cleaned the 2 day and they claimed there were “pet hair fibers on the carpet.” The person in that room does not even own a pet. Horrible experience there- they are never in the office and often don’t answer the phone.

We rented a number of rooms for a wedding anniversary party and upon check out they erroneously charged a $50 pet fee when NONE of our guests had a pet! If you are ok with being charged for a pet fee when you dont have one then stay at this place but we will never recommend to anyone to stay there again.

The hotel room was big and very clean. It was quiet and we could see the ferry coming and going out of our sliding glass windows. The people who work there were very kind. The price was very good for the value. I do not know why Trip Adviser wants 200 characters

So when we first got here I was a little skeptical. Things are a little older and we were pretty much the only people here that we could see. We went to the store down the way and got a few things for dinner and sat back to enjoy the evening. The sunset was beautiful and patio was great. We had a little cottage to ourselves. In the morning there were deer in the front of our cottage. Breakfast is not the best but had the basics. Overall I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. I like nice hotels but there is something to be said for quaint spots with a beautiful view.

We stayed here in 2011 and thought we would try it again. Great: -Dog friendly! -Super close to the ferry terminal (about 5 minutes or less). -Close to shopping, restaurants -Great, huge deep jacuzzi tub! -Great views of the bay -Quiet area -Kitchenette was very helpful to have (fridge, sink, stove, some silverware, toaster etc.) -High recommend eating at Bobs Chowder Bar & BBQ! Dog friendly shady patio! We ate there twice! -There is no cleaning service so you will need to ask for clean towels, toilet paper, Kleenex and empty your own trash while you’re there. Suggested improvements: -There needs to be a map available on their website etc. showing the cabin locations. When we stayed in 2011 we had amazing view. This time our cabin #3 had a view of two cabin roofs below us. If I would of know this would be our view we would of chosen another cabin. They will tell you all cabins have a view (they do) but some are place behind other cabins. -The window screen was being held together by duck tape in 3 areas. Needs to be replaced.

Cute motel on outside with pretty patio views. Terrible room, old, dated, dark, thin walls so you can hear neighbors very clearly. Extremely terrible breakfast- no dishes available by 9am, even when asked they could not provide. Nice location, we loved Anacortes.
